senator obama has not stooped to the gutter like clinton has. it seems clear to me we can not go back to another clinton in the white house.

7. You're right. Obama has went lower |

Edwards ran a clean campaign by political standards but we attack politics (from St. Obama) won the day in Iowa and Edwards was out.

5. Exactly. This has been a relatively mild primary. |
|
The crap on DU has made it seem like it's been unbelievably nasty, but objectively it has not.
Hillary is running against Obama right now, not directly against McCain. It's hardly unusual for primary candidates to attack each other.

9. hillary went negative two weeks before Iowa...it didn't work then....it won't work now |

Unwittingly, she illustrates Obama's point that the old politics is not what we want to see continue.
Watching the Hillary campaign I have seen McCarthism, racism, condescending attitude, insulting the voters of states "unimportant", calling voters cultists, and now saying Obama is making himself some sort of Messiah. This is all so much BULLSHIT! And so un-democratic.
Even Hillary's old hero, Barry Goldwater, would be ashamed of the tone of her campaign. He, at least, had more class than she.

By the way, she is SENATOR Clinton. There are only 100 of them currently on the planet, so it shouldn't be too difficult to keep track ... unless you are part of an "horrible attack machine".
