24. I wish I would get to vote in this year's primary election.
I'm in NC. We don't get our Primary until May. It'll be decided and there will be no choices at all left for us. :(

16. yeah if we could only get a candidate that would win a string of like
6-7 straight victories then every one would see the obvious momentum and call it off, but with each of the candidates winning one and losing one, back and forth, back and forth - its like a tennis match tied, love, tied- we may just have to flip a coin

22. No that cannot be right if we had a candidate that had actually
won 11 in a row I am sure that that would be enough for the party to embrace, especially if it had been 11 landslides in a row

9. I agree.... convince Hillary to exit...... ;-)
Seriously, though.... It can't end quickly and also end in a Clinton nomination.

She can only win if it somehow gets to summer undecided.

The only person who can win this "quickly" is Obama.

23. no. was just kind of using gallows humor
Well, I've often been compared to Hillary Clinton when it comes to being successful at humor...my bad. I do agree with your original sentiment, though. We need to move on and beat the ever lovin' shit out of McCain.

This is not the Lirwin I've seen around here. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO LIRWIN?!?!?!?!

In all due respect, we might support different candidates right now, but in the end we will all be supporting the new president, because there ain't no way in hell the GOP is going back to the White House.

and feels depressing.

Does it feel like staying too long at a party or company that overstays its welcome? (edit to add - I wasn't implying this about Hillary, I was just trying to place this slightly exhausted feeling in a familiar context)

It just feels like we need to move to the next stage.

Well, now I know I'm not alone in feeling this way. :)
