Get ready to man your battle stations. |

No matter if Hillary or Obama is the nominee, the Republicans will pull out every stop to win the next election. The Democrat should win in a landslide but it is probably unrealistic to think the next election won't be very close. Get ready to do battle. You will have to fight every moment until the November elections and afterward.
His Daddy was a Muslim so he has Muslim in his blood. Who knows what Bill Clinton will be doing with all that spare time on his hands? Why is he ashamed of his middle name? Hillary is Satan incarnate. He is a naive person who talks a good game but has no experience to be the Commander in Chief. Hillary wants to reform one/seventh of our economy with her healthcare plan. Barack Hussein Obama is really a very good friend of Louis Farrakhan. Hillary is nothing but a socialist that wants to raise your taxes. ...etc...etc..
We know ahead of time what is coming. Are you ready to defend your nominee against these charges. If you are not ready every day to call these people on their lies and to refute their charges, then you may want to take a vacation until about January of next year? We have to be willing to fight for what we believe in. Otherwise, we will end up with 4 more years of George W Bush policies.

Yardsigns, bumperstickers, calls to local and national radio talk shows, calls to local and national TV talk shows, letters to the editors explaining why you are voting Dem, phone drives, door to door canvassing, donating money, wearing buttons, getting two or three non-voting or Republican family members to vote Dem, blogging (other than DU), engaging in polls, etc.
Much to do. We MUST win.

will likely pull the stops out. And they have some big bucks at their disposal.
Still see a big D win, yet it's worthwhile, and noted, to keep a heads up.

My preferred candidate was Edwards; he's out, so whether it's Obama or Clinton who gets the nom, I'll be ready to help fight back against the RW machine.
I want a Democrat in the WH starting in '09, AND I want more D's in Congress too.

Every post indicating a runaway win for Democrats alarms me.

6. agreed, the GOP will be a cornered, wounded and dying bear |

approach with weapons drawn.
they smell their possible complete annihilation in the fall: I think its very conceivable not a single republican up for reelection will survive, and no new republicans get in.
(a guy can hope!)
