4. The overriding theme seems to be |
|
that Obama's winning because Hillary failed. That's not a ringing endorsement of your candidate.

|
 I thought you were in the military!? It ain't just about "answering the phone". It's about what you say after having done so. I will say this...witnessing the naivete of some BO supports and the twist & turns they're willing to endure just to fluff up that Angel Hair is truly inspirational O8)

and I've done my share of answering secure phones at 3 in the morning.
Still, I'll point out a monumental fuck up when I see one. Such as this laughable "what's in your walle" err "who's answering your phone" bit.

29. Sure I got'cha, but neither do I need to tell you how, at once: goofy, shitty, snarky *and* stoo-pit |
|
all the stuff has become. We're well/long past any point where we could've spoke on these matters like adults shit fuck that!! Who needs 'reason' as has been counseled from considerable distance? A candidate is dribbling a basketball up Flatbush Ave, and the other has lost their tax return boo-woo

16. the reality is this nomination was hers to lose |
|
she ran campaign unwisely and not well.
Its possible that if someone wins, someone also loses. Do you view it otherwise?

17. Why not just credit your candidate for doing well? |
|
Why do you have to attribute it to somebody else sucking?
Did Edwards, Biden, Dodd, Richardson et. al. all suck, too? Is only the winner good, all the losers bad?

18. In this case, her campaign was run very poorly. I think its important to view |
|
that fact objectively, and learn from it as a party.
If you can separate yourself from partisanship for a moment, the most important thing is making sure democrats are elected. To that end, we need to analyze and determine what succeeds and what doesnt'.
Since I'm not on Obama's campaign staff, perhaps I'm bette able to view this issue more objectively than yourself.
obama was my third choice, but I admit he's run an excellent campaign, and created a groundswell of bottom up support. We need to learn why that succeeds, and Clinton's campaign does not.
or are you not interested in the democratic party if your candidate does not win?
I think this is an excellent learning opportunity and we refuse to learn from it at our own peril.

19. I think he's run a fine campaign, too |
|
And I think he's been given a lot of advantages. I don't think his campaign has been any cleaner than Clinton's - he just got away with a lot more. And good for him - that's politics.
But I'm tired of the narrative put forth here every day that it's the knight in shining armor against the evil dragon(lady).
I just don't understand why winning isn't enough for some people - you have to make sure the other candidate is thorougly destroyed before you're satisfied. It's a mindset I don't understand.

but I think I see it more coming from the other camp, in my observations.
regardless, after tuesday maybe we can concentrate more on building bridges and working strategies against republicans.

|

His policies are strong. His judgment is impeccable. He WILL be the next president because he is the best person for the job.
How is that?
And the last time I checked, he did it all without resorting to scare tactics.

31. I've never used the word |
|
"cult" in regard to Obama supporters. Not once.
I've never started a negative thread about Obama - but I've started a few positive ones.
And if Clinton were winning big, I wouldn't trash Obama. I just honestly don't understand the desire to destroy the opposition and his/her supporters. We have two great candidates. I see no reason to be assholish about it.
