1. Voted for Miller, here's why: |
|
Yes, he annoys the heck out of me, but I picked him because he is a life-long Democrat.
I watched him give a speech about his book, and it mostly made me sad. He's old and scared. His complaints about the modern Democratic party are bogus, yes. I think, though, that if he took a hard look at the modern Republican party, it might change his mind.
John McCain has NO EXCUSE for being a Republican. He's a free-thinker, and in his prime. If he had enough of a conscience, he'd be out of there!

4. No, he is a Republican! |
|
If he became an Independent, then I would respect him more than Miller.
I live in Arizona, and believe me, when push comes to shove, McCain will be campaigning for Bush.

11. Actually, he hates Bush |
|
The campaigning is more of a publicity stunt, showing that he's a Republican

12. I'm well aware of the bad blood |
|
John McCain has a brain, and undoubtedly knows Bush is a "moran", but he'll still bend over for him and take in the ass from the Republican leadership.
I happen to find that more repulsive more than the pathetic warblings of an old man who finds the 21st century scary.

14. When I listened to his speech |
|
I really came away with the impression that he is confused and scared.
He expressed concern over the Democratic party becoming intolerant of dissent. He obviously has no clue that any "lock-step" behavior on the Dem's side is in response to the absolutely ruthless enforcement going on the other side.
I really, truly believe that if he knew and understood the situation that he would not be saying these things.
But, I could just be a sucker for pathetic losers. I prefer losers to bullies.

16. I see them both as pathetic losers |

The sad thing to me is McCain was an American hero. How scared is he that he would let his family be attacked and not defend them. Miller is retiring. Does he really need to burn down the house as he goes out the door?

|
I think that may top my 'Lieberman/Miller 2004' suggestion.

5. Probably the only time I would ever vote for McCain. |
|
Only because it doesn't count for anything. My true inclination would be to not vote at all. The only reason I would say McCain is because I feel he is the lesser hypocrite. He is a Rethug in word and deed. Miller is a total fraud and not worthy of any consideration.

7. I wrote a letter to McCain this week |
|
& asked him to leave the Republican party.
I said I knew Kerry was his friend & he respected him, whereas Bush has been terrible for the country, & smeared him personally.
Also, I said I could understand if he does not join the Dems, but become an Independent, because he agrees with Dems on many issues, like global warming, raising CAFE standards, etc. Whereas, he disagrees with Repubs on many things.

10. They're both awful. McCain's a Republican so he supposed to be awful. |
|
However he's less awful than many other Republicans so he appears better.

17. Neither. They can both go to hell for all I care! |
|
Miller's a turncoat, and McCain's a neoconservative.
The only votes involving them I could support would be the vote to get them the hell out of office!

21. McCain. He is been opposed to more of Bush's policies than Miller. |
|
Name one thing Miller has opposed that Bush has set out. McCain has opposed nearly every tax bill and has been a thorn in Bush's side on other issues. Miller bent over and took it up the ass.

22. Miller....Hes a Dixiecrat NOT a Democrat |
|
At least McCain has is own mind more than the rest of the GOP AND Miller. I have figured ol Zell out ( Zell out ..get it? hee ) Hes no democrat..Hes a Dixiecrat who did not switch when the Democrats took out the trash with Thrommund, Helms the the rest of those embarassments to america that found a new safe haven with the Republican party..He pines for the old days where the Dixiecrats of the Democratic party were the right wing and his dream that one day it will be so agian..Or hes just too dumb not to swtich. Geeze can you imagine a time with Dixiecrats AND republicans..Brrrr chills me to the bone..Thank god that Zell is the only one who waxes poetic about it..and he needs to GO! SWITCH ZELL! We dont need you!

24. McCain, he sure as hell isn't attacking Kerry like Zell is... |
|
Even though they both support Bush, Zell is doing it actively while McCain is basically helping Kerry more than Bush.
