McCain: "very proud to have Pastor John Hagee's support."
Isn't it away past time for the MSM to start shining the spotlight on the lunatic, anti-Catholic (and other) ravings of GOP supporters like Hagee and his ilk?
Maybe it's begun a bit. The Catholic vote is key in midwest states like Wisconsin and Ohio. This stuff needs to be hammered home.

2. And WE'RE jumping on Obama for rejecting "but not denouncing" Farrakhan?
Hagee is a menace, and Catholics AND Jews won't stand for this endorsement.

5. Unlike McCain, Obama neither asked for nor sought that support
McCain made a pilgrimage to Hagee, hat in hand, to ask for his blessing. Whatta creep.

McCain waffling and under fire for Hagee endorsement

""Hagee's hate speech has no place in public discourse, and McCain's embrace of this figure raises serious questions about John McCain's character and his willingness to do anything to win," said Tom McMahon, executive director of the Democratic National Committee."

9. Defuses the Farrakhan issue nicely
Obama never appeared on stage to get his endorsement and in fact rejected and denounced it. McCain shook hands with the man.
