Here is a hug for any Clinton supporter who saw the "Red Phone" commercial today
Edited on Fri Feb-29-08 06:23 PM by LeviathanCrumbling
:hug:I'm sorry that your candidate is partaking in the same type of low brow fear mongering that we have been decrying for the last 6 years.

For what it is worth I don't put all the blame on Hillary, I think most of it should go to the totally incompetent and immoral team that Mark Penn put together for her.

The sooner this is over the sooner Mark Penn and his boys will stop defiling the Clinton legacy.

34. Hit the nail right on the head.
They are desperate so they look the masters of desperations.

I urge Hillery Supporters to call for her to stop this madness now. Yes I am fully willing to see her do poorly in Texas and Ohio where she will need double digit leads for this continue. However, Out of my tiny tiny bit of respect for Clinton I think she needs to be given the chance to stop this now.

Please ask her to stop this!

3. Keep your hug. I like the ad.
Anyone who doesn't look at their candidate in terms of ability to lead in case of emergency is a fool.

38. Its not a negative attack ad. Shes not attacking ANYONE.
Shes advocating that people think about the ability of the candidates to handle the unforeseen.

Are you telling me that you haven't assessed the candidates ability to handle national emergencies?

Not to mention that Clinton's people already said that they were going negative this week and this is the crown jewel in their "Kitchen Sink Attack."

12. What ability to lead?!?!
Every display of so called leadership Clinton has had has been an unmitigated disaster. From her botched health care task force to her completely inempt campaign, Clinton has shown repeatedly that she is NOT someone who has sound judgement or even marginal leadership ability.

I have yet to see one example where Hillary has lead, taken a risk, shown sound judgement that countered conventional wisdom and she's had her supposed 35 years to do so.

Why run an ad that would give your opponent the opportunity to attack you on your weakest point - the Iraq War???

6. When has Hillary Clinton
shown any evidence that she's prepared to handle an emergency with a calm cool head.

FFS, she called a press conference and basically challenged Barack to a duel over some campaign fliers.

are you going to lead in a emergency?

I liked Hillary at one time but either Barack is that good or she is that bad, which is it?

21. "Fear mongering." LOL
It's a valid question.

The world IS dangerous. We DO have an enemy. I know some people here don't think we do, and I'm not going to argue that point with people who don't believe we have threats facing us.

The question of who you'd rather have in the Oval Office is a valid one. I haven't been a Hillary fan throughout this campaign, but this ad is one of her best so far, in my opinion.

The Obama campaign is about hope and change and hope and change and hope and change and hope and change.

Stop me before I start weeping and get faint over this magnificent hope and change candidate. But don't ask me about his experience and knowledge! I'll be too busy weeping and fainting over him.

Yes, we agree.

there are threats. They think it's all made up. Their ability to ignore the reality of this speaks volumes about their approach to picking a candidate -- and look who they pick.

36. Yes it gets overused when it suddenly is turned on Clinton.
This is almost getting dizzying! Thankfully the people of Texas and Ohio are seeing this crap and hopefully will respond.

In case you have not noticed.. People are being tired by some higher up that they must be afraid of the boogyman. Just because Clinton is a dem does not mean she gets a pass for taking a play out of the republican playbook.

I know there are threats so does the United States which has had that line shoved down their throats since Bush took office.
