Poll question: Clinton supporters - Do you approve of Clinton's vote to authorize Iraq War? |
|
I'm just curious to see how many Clinton supporters approve of her vote to authorize Bush to invade Iraq and why the excuse the vote if they do...and on the other hand why the approve?
thanks.

3. I listened to all the Senate speeches & to Shrub at the time, and |
|
sice I was a corporate buyer, I already KNEW that no one would pay any attention to you if you didn't have "authority" to carryout your committments. The argument at the time was to Shrub the ability to go before the UN with the "authority" to back up his threats! I would have voted YES at the time too!

7. I guess you weren't on DU but we all knew it was a vote for war when it went down |
|
the writing was on the wall and all the information was out there for anyone who cared to figure out what was going on and what our country was about to do. She voted to let Bush go to war.

5. 74 % of Americans supported the Iraq War at the beginning.... |

I never supported the war, in fact I protested against it on 2 continents.
I support Clinton because I am not a one issue voter. I think her Economic Policies are more sound than Obama's, I think her Health Care plan is better than Obama's, I think she is miles ahead of him on Foreign Policy just to name a few reasons why I am supporting her.

8. after this i'd like to do a DU poll of straight support for the IWR, i bet the numbers will be... |
|
FAR lower than on this poll...the difference between polls should be called the "Blind faith in Clinton Syndrome" where otherwise reasonable people vote against their own beliefs to support the Clintons
