I STRONGLY opposed Nader and supported Gore in 2000, even though as a socialist, most people I was hearing from on WBAI supported Nader.

He also made a really disgusting remark about abortion, with the clear implication that the choice issue was no big deal -- that if Roe v Wade were overturned, the matter would "just" go back to the states, (which is also untrue -- it would be a constant football issue in Congress). You might try googling those two topics for during the 2000 campaign.
