Question to ALL boots on the ground in TX and OH |
|
I have seen a lot of Obama supporters talking about their experiences in both ohio and texas in canvasing, phone banking, and HQ the past few days...
Are there any HRC supporters on the ground in both/either state to tell us how things are going at their HQ and in their canvasing and phone banking?

|
Sorry if I misled you or any other DUers.
Jen is the one who swayed her mom (that's me) to Obama's side.

I'll write a full review as soon as I recover... I am dog-tired! But it was a fun and encouraging and fired-up kind of day!!
I'm sure OzarkDem will post her full account of canvassing for Hillary as soon as she returns from checking out the traffic conditions in Nelsonville. }(

17. Hey Jen! Part of the million door knock-that's great! |
|
I'll be out tomorrow, had a great break at town hall meeting (I shook the next President of the US's hand!!!)
You had great weather. Isn't it amazing how many volunteers come to Ohio from out of state to help in this historic primary?

Trying to get a sense of what is going on in TX and OH. Based on ground reports in RI looks like HRC will hold steady there.
Just trying to find out whats up in those two states on the flip side.
I called both Ohio and Tx, made about 40 calls. Probably got through to around 1/4 of them, all folks I spoke with were voting for Obama.

Just saw one posted in RI. HRC looks like she is in good shape there, even by an accoutn of an obama canvasser in RI.
Very curious about OH and TX.

7. She has no local TX supporters.. |
|
She's had to resort to PAYING a company to have their workers stand at major Dallas intersections with Hillary signs. No, I'm not kidding: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=4845263&mesg_id=4845263

11. Everyone I know is working on it |
|
as have I. There are several campaign offices in NE Ohio, lots of activity, lots of events and surrogates from out of town.
Also working on the Kucinich campaign, which is doing well. However, I doubt there are many Obama supporters who support Dennis. Just sayin.

18. I'm a Dennis supporter and I know quite a few others who have shifted from |
|
Dennis to Obama in my neck of the woods. I posted the other day a new poll showing he is far ahead of his challenger.

14. I'm back from canvassing for Obama |
|
I promise a full review as soon as I've recovered from this exhaustion. :-)
Saw an amazing and huge Obama visibility event on the heavily trafficked corner of Reading and Galbraith on my way to the Obama HQ today... over 100 people spread across four corners, honking galore, it was the coolest thing ever.
I will say that I have yet to see a single Hillary visibility event anywhere in the greater Cincinnati area, for what it's worth.

16. I saw some paid sign holders at an intersection in Plano, TX for HRC |
|
It's kinda sad, because nearby, HRC was having a gathering with Gloria Steinem at a local La Madeline restaurant. She couldn't scare up a few volunteers to hold up the signs.
Meanwhile, the neighborhoods are swarming with Obama canvassers. God Bless 'em.
