Hillary missed a great opportunity today |
|
She is a very smart, articulate, intelligent person. She has her fingers on the pulse of what is being said among the Democratic communities in the real world, and in cyber-space. The way both her 60 Min reply and her comments about McCain have been 'received'- and some people would say 'spun' is something she is VERY well aware of. That being said-
She could have taken the opportunity to publicly clear the air, before the polls opened- Putting herself in the limelight- in order to clarify her TRUE thoughts/statements about both these issues. She could have shown that she does have the LEADERSHIP qualities of personal integrity, and the desire that truth, NOT media fueled hysterics- steer the American publics conversation. But she said nothing.
Even if she had no genuine intention of smearing Obama with her words, her lack of clarification- IN THE DEFENSE of TRUTH- says more about her desperation to achieve her goal- at any expense, than the words she DID speak- and DID allow to be received the way they have been. Not just by Democrats- but by Republicans as well. Win at any cost?
Remember, it is everyone of us paying the price.
peace~

2. I really would like to give her the benefit of the doubt- always- |
|
despite how the words may sound- how the media spins, how even my own ears hear, -try to look beyond some of the words, at the deeds.
Her deeds are not encouraging to me.
I do, in all seriousness, wish here peace.
This election means far more to her than it should. (IMO)
:hi:
