Bad news Obama fans
In Texas, one-third of the totality of voters are hispanic. Clinton fairs much better among hispanics, and their numbers are up greatly this election. The number of African American voters is down three percent from 2004, another bit of new that does not bode well for Obama. Looks like this thing goes to the convention, and Hillary will have Big Mo after tonight'

This was on CBS evening news just now.

5. Keep dreaming
The demographic makeup of Texas is not news to folks in the Obama camp. Unlike Team Clinton, Team Obama actually researched the states a long time ago. Get back to us after the results this evening and we'll see how much 'big mo' Hillary Clinton has then.

26. Uh, yes it is
Those are the facts according to CBS, as of about 5:45 PM CST. It's merely a breakdown of who is showing up to vote. I can't help it if you don't like it, that's your problem.

18. Texas precinct chair here - delegate weights will hurt Clinton
The Hispanic delegates that Clinton will get are weighted very low - based on prior years of non-voting. The urban delegates, which Obama commands, are weighed more b/c they voted much more in prior years than those regions in the Valley. So, Clinton loses LARGE on the urban, higher weighted delegates. Obama loses small, if he does, on the Valley/Hispanic votes, which are the lower weighted delegates.
