1. I'd have no problem with either combination, though I prefer Obama to be
the presidential nominee.

2. I'm an Obama supporter and
I'd have problems with it. All we'd here until November is : Obama's own running mate said "....."

It's bad enough that McCain will be able to quote Hillary when attacking Obama for the general election. Having her as his running mate just makes it worse.

23. No, I don't think so
I also think that Hillary is ambitious to a level that would make her untrustworthy as VP

5. both have thrown too much at each other to run together now
and there are some supporters of each who have thrown even more at each other.

the in party fighting is turning away a lot of people. i wish they'd see that.

6. Obama supporter here, and I don't think he'd do himself any
favors by asking Clinton to run. He's running on change and the future; she represents the past.
Plus, I really don't think they like each other.

13. ok I understand
but they are both great actors...

not sure its a favor for the VP
depending on the percentage.... if he sees a win with her on the ticket
or vice a versa they would probably seriously think about it

I believe this

17. My dear babylonsister...
They don't have to like each other to work well together...

JFK and LBJ loathed each other...

The ticket is chosen to bring the strength needed to win in the general election.

20. Understood. But I just don't see it. You didn't
mention the main point of my post either. Clinton and the old ways of doing business in DC is what he's campaigning against. I don't see him doing a 180 on that.

9. No, I would not. And I don't think it would be workable for an administration,
nor would it be the most effective use of each of them.

12. If Hillary doesn't win, then she needs to go back to the Senate and
serve as the NUMBER ONE check-and-balance to Obama. She needs to lead the Senate in
questioning his every move and stonewalling any and all pie-in-the-sky schemes. She also
would be serving a large public service in investigating and scrutinizing everything and
being the Devil's Chief Advocate.

Hillary DOES have supporters, she will continue to have them and she should put THEIR
demands and needs first and keep shoving them into the face of the Obama people.

way would she take a veep position. And as calm as Barack appears to be, he has an enormous ego, I am sure he would not want to be #2.

21. I'm for Obama...
I don't think I would be happy with clinton as a running mate....she has tried her best to undermine him this week. that last comment of hers, complimenting McCrazy and insulting Obama was enough for me.
I think he will need to pick someone with some military experience.
