Unbelievable! In the primary, I often write-in vote for people who've already dropped out of the race, because our primary is too late in the season to matter. But maybe this year the Demo. candidates will come to PA and kiss our rear ends for a change!

6. A quarter-century ago, I lived in Monroe County, and used to drive up to Milford for work.
I used to love that beautiful drive! Helloooooo, Pike County!

Beautiful country up there. Still can't believe they tore down the "Beautiful Mount Airy Lodge" and built a casino. Well, actually, yes I can.

4. I know!
I was planning on voting for John Edwards back in January because I thought it would be over by now...Now...it's going to be huge...

Hillary, you have a vote in PA here...actually you have 2. Me and my mom. Unfortunately, my dad and his girlfriend are going for Obama...so it's an even split.

5. I HEAR YA! I lived in Pa. for 42 years, and our vote NEVER mattered in a primary!
That's the argument I always use when people start bitching about Fl & Mi. What's the damn differnce? They broke the rules and their votes aren't going to matter. Later primary States abided by the rules and their votes don't matter either! Same thing in my mind!

but then again, there are a lot of people I DON'T talk to, so......I suppose I'll just have to wait. Bucks can be strange, sometimes

16. I have to say this...
Edwards was my guy, and when he dropped out, I had quite a bit of thinking to do......until a couple of days ago. I don't know if you'll like me or hate me for this one, but I feel my vote has to go to Hillary on this one. Something about the Obama campaign seems a little off to me, and I can't quite put my finger on what that is. I guess we'll find out soon enough how much our presence matters here.

It's nice to matter once in a while:)

I'll put up with the annoyances to get the benefits. I'm in Montgomery County, Hillary's popular around here.

23. I get the feeling she'll take PA
And I know it's not a popular idea around here, but I think Rendell would make an outstanding VP if Obama turns the offer down. That is if she's the nominee, of course.

27. Oh I think you're quite right
that she'll take PA, and by a comfortable margin. PA isn't much different from OH. A Rendell VP choice wouldn't surprise me at all, and I wouldn't complain. There have been rumors about McCain picking Ridge, that would be weird, 2 PA Govs in the race.

29. Wouldn't that be odd?
Rendell would beat out Ridge for PA. I have a feeling she'd pick Clark for VP.

Be prepared to trip over them every time you go to the grocery store!

JK...I really envy you guys. I live in a reliably Blue state, so nobody spends much time campaigning here.

39. Help us watch the VOTING MACHINES while all this is going on -- VotePA.us
Edited on Wed Mar-05-08 11:13 AM by demodonkey

According to reports by Common Cause, Verified Voting and many others, PA is at high risk for election problems.

Please help us make sure that every vote in the Primary AND November is counted as cast. We need people who are working on all campaigns to learn how to be vigilant about voter disenfranchisement, election fraud, and machine problems as they work for their candidates.
