Obama and Hillary both failed last night |
|
Obama failed to deliver the knockout punch.
Hillary failed to make a meaningful difference in the delegate count.
And we as the democratic party failed last night because this fight is going all the way to the convention.
Last night was a terrible night for the Democrats.

1. Obama's campaign never expected to land a knockout punch last night. |

3. As an Obama supporter I expected a Texas win and thus a ko. |
|
I know others were expecting the same too.

5. His campaign tried to lower his supporters' expectations. |
|
They predicted these outcomes months ago.
Worry not. :)

8. He clearly lost his momentum in the last 4 days |
|
He failed to keep the wheels moving.

2. Eh, I don't know about that. |
|
I think Hillary staying in the race could be good for Obama -- better that he learn t deal with attacks now than get blindsided in the general election.

These two candidates will tear each other down to the point that they would most probably lose the general election and have the democratic base divided.

11. On the contrary, I think either of our two nominees can beat McCain like a mule. |
|
Painting him as a Strangelovian warmonger who will push the button the minute he gets into the White House will be so easy a freaking 5-year-old could do it.

4. I disagree. Obama held his own after a bad week. Let's see if he's |

ready for the brass ring.

6. No... last night was a great night... |
|
for republicans!
McCain is the nominee...
Republicans crossed over in huge numbers. Hillary won 3 states.
both campaigns are going to go negative now... and spend tons to money... to arrive at the end of August right where we are right now, fighting each other...
Yup. last night was a great night for republicans.

10. And the next few months may be even worse. |
|
I don't see anything significant changing in the delegate count with the rest of the states left. -sigh-

12. Only the MSM won last night |
|
As usual, the sheep like voters were led by the nose through an entire week of MSM coverage of every half assed innuendo by the Clinton campaign.
And it worked, just as Rove proved in 2000 and 2004.
The MSM loves it, they get weeks and weeks of more political coverage to sell ads, but for our party last night was a disaster.

7 years of an incompetent Republican president overlapping with 12 years of a corrupt Republican Congress...and it's the Democrats who are taking all the heat!
And that's all it is - heat, without much light.
