Why would one not vote for the other Candidate, if your candidate loses? |
|
I have heard and read many people, who were either supporters of Sen. Clinton, or Sen. Obama, who have claimed they will sit out of the General Election if their candidate loses. I must ask you this, would 4 more years of Republican control of the Executive branch make you happier?
No candidate is perfect, nor will please us all of the time. We must support the Democratic Party to bring a change for us. The Republicans have abused their power. There is no need not to be involved, if your candidate loses. Are you Americans first, Democrats second? Are we not Democrats partly because we cannot stand the excesses, and abuses of powere that the Republicans have committed?
Please suck it up. Vote Democratic. Vote for our future. Vote for your families. Vote.

1. Why I won't vote for Hillary |
|
She's only where she is because she married Bill Clinton, and I can't stand it.
She never held office before her Senate seat, which she only won through name recognition. She'd never done anything for New York State at large and only won because she is a Clinton - and that Senate seat got her the chance to run for President.
If Hillary becomes President, we may as well abandon elections and start having Kings and Queens and a royal family. Twenty years of being ruled over by a Bush or a Clinton? Can we have a clearer example of how our political system has completely fallen apart and now we can't even maintain illusions that politics is the sole realm of the ultra-wealthy?

In the last 8 years she has never taken a serious stand against Bush on an important issue.

I'm a registered "Independent" and tend to lean left. I will support Obama if he's the nominee, I won't support Hillary.

3. You're right. Some of us are going to have to suck it up. |

I can't stand Hillary, but if I have to I'll vote for her to keep McCain out of office. We can't allow the war to continue.

I will NOT vote for a DINO/DLC, pro-corporate, faux Dem ANYMORE. I've had enough of compromising my ideals for the sake of the lesser evil. NO MORE.

8. Hillary is now stumping for McCain |
|
with her "he and I have experience, and Obama has a speech" comments over and over and over. Why should I vote for someone who is clearly a DINO?

9. Politically, I am a Democratic Socialist. |
|
I am not ecstatic over either two of our candidates. I think that if Sen. Clinton is the nominee, even if she is a Dino, she will be better President than Sen. McCain. Further, there are many similarities between Sen. Clinton, and Sen. Obama. I find negatives about both candidates, and positives. I know that I will not get a candidate, either way, that will represent my political idealogy. Politics in this country is about compromise.
I will vote for the Democratic Nominee. I know that it will be better for the majority in this country. The Republicans should lose. They have abused their power. I know Democrats are not perfect, and they do not represent, all of the time, what is in the best interests of the majority. We have to fight against the Republicans. If we cannot do that, do you wish for another 4 years of Republican control over the Executive Branch, and more Republican Nominees in our Federal Courts? Please think about this?

10. The people who say they won't vote for Hillary are walking trophies of the right-wing slime machine. |
