You know what? I was wrong. Hillary should be the candidate. |
|
And if she happens to lose to Obama I'll do what she asked and vote for the more "experienced" candidate. John McCain. I mean what else can a loyal Democrat do right? I'm so sorry for calling her out on the McCain thing. I mean, why should I let that one little comment annoy me? John McCain has the experience! If we can't have Hillary vote McCain, I'm sure it will be better than an unexperienced hack like Obama. All he has is speeches after all...
Please, I have been honest, fair and I have not bashed either candidate. I chose Obama two days ago because of the McCain comment, well that and the 3am ad. I have not called anyone names, I have not bashed any supporters, and I have not lied or made anything up. All I am asking for is someone to reasonably justify what Hillary said. And "It's true" doesn't count. Even if it were true that Obama is less qualified than her, he is in no way going to be worse than McCain.

seriously.
Hillary is running to the left ( very slightly) of Obama.
Talk of McCain being more qualified isn't an endorsement. It's an honest assessment.
In fact McCain's experience is reason to NOT support him. He would be effective in passing about GOP agenda.
likewise --Clinton would be more effective in passing the Democratic Party agenda.
Obama? Who knows? I tend to think he'd cave so badly that he'd make Pelosi look like FDR.

21. Then why did Hillary say McCain's lifetime of experience (like hers) qualify them to |
|
meet the threshhold to be CIC? While Obama "gave a speech" like he has NO experience? And she went on to say how good a friend McCain is and how much she respects him, blah blah blah.

23. I'm sorry but that doesn't fly with me. It was a deliberate shot |
|
which plainly stated to anyone who saw it or listened to it that McCain is more qualified to be president than Obama. I can just see McCains ads now, "Even Obama's own party doesn't think he's qualified to be president". "Just ask Hillary!" (cue tape roll, "I have experience, John McCain has experience, Obama has... speeches."
Be honest here. If Obama had made a statement saying that McCain was more qualified than Hillary to be President you'd be doing exactly what I am doing, and I'd probably be backing you up since it was that statement that put me in Obama's camp.
Thanks for the reasoned response though, it's the first one I got today!

And now I hear it's not just that one time. I'm looking for links to the others. Not going to believe it unless I see it. I still have enough respect for her to hope that she realizes she made a mistake with that comment and backs off from it. However if she continues to praise McCain and crap on Obama I may have a serious problem with voting for her. She can crap on Obama all she wants, just don't be doing it while you are praising the Republican candidate.

but she said Obama gave "A speech in 2002", denigrating all his other accomplishments, belittling the fact that he has won more than twice the primaries she has won and ignoring all the many thousands of new, motivated voters who have joined the party because they were inspired by him. The Independents like him, too, and are not a shoo in for her. I'm not arguing with you. I support you in your argument.

I was undecided a couple of weeks ago until the picture of Obama in traditional Kenyan clothing was released to try to stir up the muslim falsehood again. I found out Hillary's campaign WAS responsible for making up that garbage email about OBAMA and that did it for me.
Guess what! I am now a Texas precinct delegate for Obama and it looks like he will be awarded the most delegates in Texas despite Hillary's fake win.

why was that ok?
"I don't want to present myself as some sort of singular figure. I think part of what is different is the times. I do think that, for example, the 1980 election was different. I think Ronald Reagan changed the trajectory of America in a way that Richard Nixon did not and in a way that Bill Clinton did not. He put us on a fundamentally different path because the country was ready for it. They felt like with all the excesses of the 60s and the 70s and government had grown and grown but there wasn't much sense of accountability in terms of how it was operating. I think he tapped into what people were already feeling. Which is we want clarity, we want optimism, we want a return to that sense of dynamism and entrepreneurship that had been missing." - Obama
