Wolfson dresses as Uncle Sam to demand tax returns be released:

Wolfson is bearded and rumpled, a few years shy of ''avuncular.'' His reputation is for extremely long hours, aggressive campaigning and a reliable pessimism that plays well with the local media. ''If you were a camp counselor,'' says Joel Siegel of The Daily News, ''he'd be that kid you just wanted to put your arm around and ask, 'What's wrong?'''

<snip>
In recent months, the team has been trying to focus public scrutiny on Lazio. Wolfson himself, along with a Democratic State Committee member dressed as Uncle Sam, showed up at a Lazio event in Harlem in August, taunting Lazio with the first lady's New York property tax returns and challenging him to release his returns. In any other campaign, it might have been the candidate who seized such a photo op; but with his boss invested in preserving her dignity, it occasionally falls to Wolfson to supply those moments of semi-slapstick.

So... who here is willing to do this to Senator Clinton if they get the chance?

1. They'll be releasing them around 4/15
Let me know if you've heard otherwise.

2. Obama requested last year's returns - not this year's.
there is no reason she can't xerox the press a copy.

4. WE don't want 2007 we want the ones she'd been hiding from 2006.
Why won't she come clean?

What is she hiding?

God I can't wait for that hateful woman to be out of this race...she is SUCH a sore loser and the biggest hypocrite in recent memory...

6. Where are the returns from 2000 to 2006?
Some of you are really dumb to fall for the "I'll release them (meaning the 2007 ones only) by April 15th. There's a reason all those other returns haven't been released.

7. I've seen you posting this multiple times
and every time someone tells you that they're talking about the 2006 returns.

How is this confusing to you?

11. Nope. First time.
Maybe someone else, but this isn't posted very often in general.

The 2007 returns are not even required at the IRS until 4/15.

No, I'm not confused; the current tax returns publicly available under most disclosure laws are from 2006.

9. why are the years old returns being held until then?
It's not like they are getting filed this year.
It's a lame excuse.

3. Is Clinton playing "peek-a-boo" with her taxes?
“Congressman Lazio is clearly playing peek-a-boo with his taxes,” said Hillary Clinton’s spokesman, Howard Wolfson.

10. There'll never be transparency if the Clintons were
to somehow get back in the WH. Everything is a secret, BushCo gets away with absolutely everything. "It takes a Clinton to cover up for a Bush". 32 years of the Clint/Bushons in office? No thanks! Time to at least have a chance at some real, lasting change to the way Washington ticks. There will be more accountability to the people in an Obama Administration, no doubt about it.
