Ms. Power resigns, now Hillary, you FIRE your staffer who sent the pic to Drudge
Edited on Fri Mar-07-08 11:58 AM by npincus
Remember this?

Remember the Clinton campaign's non-denial denial? Why didn't Hillary find out who in her campaign sent this photo and FIRE that person? And, why didn't Obama have a tantrum (like the one Hillary is having now) and demand that the source inside her campaign be found and FIRED?

why is the media hopping on Obama but gave the Hillary campaign a pass?

Advice to Obama: tell Hillary Ms. Power goes when she finds and fires the person responsible for sending Obama-in-tribal-dress pics to the Drudger Report. In that case, Ms. Power's job is very safe.

11. Drudge DID "claim" the pic was sent by HRC campaign (read caption)
Edited on Fri Mar-07-08 12:04 PM by npincus
and Drudge didn't just "get" it... it was sent by a Hillary staffer with a note saying that if Hillary had a similar photo, the media would have made a big stink (paraphrasing).

Why do Hillary supporters have so much trouble accepting the truth about their candidate's campaign?

26. Drudge never said the pic was sent to him by a Clinton staffer.
What he said was that the Drudge Report "obtained" a copy of the photo attached to a note (probably an e-mail) from one Clinton staffer to another saying (to the effect), "What would the MSM do if Hillary had been seen in an outfit like this? (Note that the photo was old by this time, but the press had ignored it.)

By saying he "obtained" the note and photo from Clinton staffers, Drudge could make it APPEAR (to easily manipulated minds) that the photo had been intentionally SENT to him from the HRC campaign. But Drudge never, ever, not one single time claimed that to be the case.

Most likely, somebody who got copied on that e-mail sent the photo and mail to Drudge, who (because he could then claim it came 'from' the Clinton campaign, ran it in order to damage both Hillary AND Obama.

12. No, it was not
And Obama already accepted Clinton's word that she knew nothing about it and had nothing to do with it. A Mydd Diary researched the history of that photo. There were hundreds of posts about it at Free Republic days before Drudge came out with it (after the photo had already been published in a national newspaper weeks earlier). Some of those Free Republic posts specifically said things like "Has Rush Limbaugh seen this yet?" And "We've got to get this to Drudge and Hannity and Rush".

Always nice to run into you :hi:

I hate to see Drudge even mentioned on DU, especially after putting Prince Harry and his band of brothers at risk. At least there wasn't a link to drive more traffic to him.

then after that the rest of her staff can go to. They are probably the most inept and unprofessional bozos to ever run a "campaign".

34. Still with this nonsense?
The picture first appeared on the Feb. 4th issue of the National Examiner and was promptly sent around the RW blogs. I personally saw it on one of these blogs. It is obvious that some trouble maker sent it to Drudge to stir up the pot. Hillary herself and the campaign have said that they don't know of anyone who sent it.

Now, I would trust Hillary and Obama's words over Drudge any day of the week.

It's sad to see that it's not the case for some of you.......
