sad, clinton supports could not be satisfied with an apology from a good woman, fellow democrat |
|
Edited on Fri Mar-07-08 11:56 AM by seabeyond
that they needed her to resign. obama, powers and obama supporters took responsibility for powers mistake. an appropriate apology from both in a professional manner, not that hillary or supporters accept agology and certainly not with cooth, grace or manners.
a mistake was made, obama and powers recognize acknowledge and resolved. that is what i want in the whitehouse. not someone that will not even admit to a mistake. we have had 8 years of that
but.... in a primary with all dems, fellow dem reduce obama to a loss of powers and behaved no differently than republicans over the lst 8 years. it is not a day to be proud of hillary supporters.

9. So it's ok because that's the way it's always been done |
|
Good attitude. Let's not try to change the tone at all.

calling a candidate a monster is OK, but asking for her resignation is not?
So Clinton has to "change the tone", but your guy doesn't? How stupid.

13. and apology was warranted and given. repugs and hillary cry, whine for the firing |
|
yet will never do with their own. they have no ethical standard that their supporters demand of them.

14. I might believe it more if she held her own people to the same standard. |
|
Instead she just plays hypocritical politics as usual.

15. Yes, it's funny that I feel like I'm fighting the same crap from the Hillary camp |
|
as we fought from the Bush camp. Lies, hypocracy, blaming the other side for what she herself is doing, secretiveness, it's all the same story. Clearly Hillary has been using Rove's playbook.

"We f***** up in Ohio," she admitted. "In Ohio, they are obsessed and Hillary is going to town on it, because she knows Ohio's the only place they can win.
"She is a monster, too – that is off the record – she is stooping to anything," Ms Power said, hastily trying to withdraw her remark.
Ms Power said of the Clinton campaign: "Here, it looks like desperation. I hope it looks like desperation there, too.
"You just look at her and think, 'Ergh'. But if you are poor and she is telling you some story about how Obama is going to take your job away, maybe it will be more effective. The amount of deceit she has put forward is really unattractive." http://thescotsman.scotsman.com/latestnews/Inside-US-poll-battle-as.3854371.jp
