Democrats instead of a 'right of center' middle of the roader and a DINO that doesn't see much wrong with the bu$h administration, we would not have to worry about McCain. Ya think? :banghead:

1. Well part of Hillary's message right now is protecting the old guard. A lot of her support
is coming from people who hate the idea of new blood knocking them out of their comfortable seats.

2. I think that the heavy hitter rethugs don't care if Hillary wins.
McCain or Hillary will promote the PNAC one world order agenda. In fact Hillary may move more quickly. McCain strikes me as someone who will spend a lot of time buffing his gun, literally.

3. But the dem party wanted to be historic
What a crock. We end up with 2 candidates that will do nothing if they can even get elected. The party leaders couldn't have played it better if Rove had planned it. The repubs get McCain who they aren't excited about, and the dems are tearing the party apart. The two biggest voting blocks, blacks and women, are not going to be happy with their second choice, and may stay home. My choice was forced out, and the two remaining can't come close to what he stood for, which is 90% of America.

4. I tend to agree with you.....But Obama at least has potential
I supported Edwards, who I wished had been a little more like Kucinich on the issues in terms of true liberal/progressive populism.

But I do think Obama would be more open to progressive ideas and pressure.

7. Obama's not perfect, but he's the closest thing to it we got right now.

5. Well, 8 people ran
from across the spectrum. Voters selected the two that remain, and without independent and republican crossovers, Clinton might have the nomination secured.

So blame the voters.

6. There are differences. It's mainly in foreign policy outlook.
That's how I made the distinction and choice.
