Edited on Sat Mar-08-08 09:33 AM by mculator
If we all move to the Dream ticket solution, it's good for Hillary. Barack will probably decline anyway, but it will expose the Hillary hate in his camp even further. Super delegates Obviously want it both ways, if Hillary Clinton and her followers propose the joint ticket, Rethugs and Hill Haters will whine big time, and she'll be the one holding the olive branch. Start pushing the joint ticket.... it can't hurt us :)

1. Right... And you don't have to expose the Obama hate in her camp
because that's obvious :)

3. Not choosing Senator Clinton as VP does not = HIllary Hate.
It could just mean not seeing her as an asset to the ticket.

Obama can only choose one VP. It doesn't mean he hates everyone else.

5. It's increasingly likely they will run together
The candidates don't take this as personally as people here do - they're professionals. If that's the best way to win in November, they'll run together.

14. you're an Obama hater of the first order
Don't worry. No one will ever take you for an Obama supporter. Aren't you one that says you won't vote for him if he's the nominee?

But I'd like any other ghosts out there to know I'll vote Democrat no matter what. Cali would probably vote Nader if Hillary were nominated.

10. Really? SDs want it? In your fevered little Obama hating mist
perhaps. YOU calling anyone else a hater when you consistently spew hate for Obama is perfect irony. And you don't have a clue as to what the SDs want. You just pulled that out of thin air.

And if you think that you and other hill supporters pushing a joint ticket here on DU will make a difference, you need to snap out of your fantasy world.

18. Hillary Clinton is a TRAITRESS to the Democratic Party. She is not a Democrat
When she has endorsed OUR OPPOSITION several times, she has proven to be nothing more than a monstrous TRAITRESS.

She is a pathetic politician quisling. She and her husband are proven pathological liars.

She was wrong on her vote for the war. She was wrong wanting to make desecration of the American flag a federal crime. She was wrong on her vote to give Bush a free pass to attack Iran. She was absolutely a traitor when she endorsed John McCain over Barack Obama. Her experience as First Lady without any national security or other classified clearances makes her nothing more than a teacup-clinking wife of a philanderer and adulterer at international gin-soaked ballrooms.

Perhaps you have no standards. Perhaps you have no moral compass to figure out what a traitress is.

Note:
collaborationist, quisling, collaborator - someone who collaborates with an enemy occupying force
traitress - female traitor

Makes no sense, so look for Hillary and her minions to push it.

26. NOTHING in it for Obama except ruining his career
If Obama were not to get the nomination there is NOTHING positive for him in being VP to the Monster. She doesn't have a pray of winning, so why should he drag himself down with her. He would just continue in the Senate while watching her go down to a stunning defeat with her Presidential aspirations over. Then he runs in 2008.

If she gets nominated and wins (impossible unless McCain drops dead or something) then why would he want to play 3rd fiddle to the Monster and Bill as VP? He would disappear from public view and his career would be finished.

If Obama wins the nomination why in God's name would he want to drag himself down with the Monster's negatives while Independent votes all go to McCain.

There is no upside for Obama to be saddled with the Monster under any scenario.

27. She isn't holding an olive branch
She is acting in a self serving fashion. Obama is ahead. There is no way for her to mathematically win in a way that is honorable.

29. Kennedy and Johnson hated each other too, after the bitter campaign
But Kennedy offered, as a formality, and to everybody's surprise, Johnson accepted. (Being VP gives you a larger place in history, after all.)
