And the same applies to any other state that the Democratic candidate is deemed unlikely to carry in November. Only states that are deemed likely to go for the Democrat in November should be allowed a part in nominating the Democratic candidate.

At least, that's what I deduce from posts by Clinton supporters belittling Obama victories in certain states.

Wait! Maybe such states should be allowed delegates, but they should only be allowed to count as, oh, I dunno, say 3/4 of a regular delegate.

Do you really think your candidate is going to take the red states in November? Get a grip! He will lose Florida, hell, he doesn't even want them to count, he will lose the entire south, most of the midwest, both Dakotas, Arizona and probably Nevada, definitely Texas and Oklahoma. If he can't get both Florida and Ohio, he's out of luck.
