Wyoming reality check: give Clinton her due from today's results |
|
Glad for the Obama win but we might keep in mind that Clinton should get some credit for taking Wyoming seriously with two rallies, a field office, and appearances the past week by Bill and Chelsea. Without this effort, Obama may have surpassed 64% and gained a 9-3 split (plus one at-large) for a 7 delegate advantage. As it now looks, Obama will likely get 7-5 (plus one at-large) for a 3 delegate advantage.
So Clinton did manage to minimize her losses in Wyoming.

It was just assumed that Obama would crush her.

3. there were, what, 127 total voters, and Chelsea and Bill met them all? |
|
and for that, we need to bow to the altar of the DESTROYER OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, simply because her ego requires feeding?

5. She campaigned hard there and got blown away. She sent Bill, |
|
and Chelsea and came herself. Her campaign had many more live events than did Obama. She had field offices, phone banking, and ads. She can out of last Tuesday with ZERO MO, and so no putting lipstick on a pig. She got blown out because they don't like her in the west and don't want to return to the Clinton era. Also, they sure as hell don't have the Clinton machine politics that works for her in certain other states. The more independent states lean heavily OBAMA !!

8. Teton will go for Obama but not enough to cross the 64% threshhold |
|
Although I'm not really sure how the delegates are apportioned in WY just guessing from previous results in other caucus states. Maybe it will be 8-4 or something else.
