Just when is Hillary going to start winning delegates?
I mean seriously, in order for her to not be little more then a McCain boosting spoiler, she needed to start winning delegates weeks ago. With her eventual loss in Wyoming today, any momentum she got from winning Ohio is over. What is she going do? When will she wise up and drop out?

2. Um, she already has...
She's within ten. That's sneezing room.

It's called "the margin of error." I love how arrogant Obama people are. They think the other candidate doesn't exist. They think the other person's supporters don't matter.

It's been a campaign of hate, and I shudder to think at what you will do when the time comes to actually do something-- and the people on the other side are still there. You seem to think the government is your friends and that's it.

It figures that supporters of someone from Chicago would believe in patronage.

6. Hillary has to win every single state remaining by BIG margins. Coming within 10 points just means..
she's losing worse.

22. Within ten what?
Delegates? When did that happen?

Obama - 1581
Clinton - 1460

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/democratic_delegate_count.html

That's a few more than ten, unless they've re-written the rules of math for this election.

23. You do know you are a bigot. Don't you?
bigot

You are disparaging an entire class of people due to a disagreement with an individual post at DU. But I'm sure you find it's much easier to do this than to debate a post on its merits. It also makes you look like a lazy man with a shotgun.

25. Hillary needs to do a lot more then win "some". She needs to win the majority, which she seems
unable to do. Its over and now she's just getting in the way.

8. When is Obama going to start winning states that we need to win in Nov.
Edited on Sat Mar-08-08 05:49 PM by newfie4
Instead of the rich hipster/AA vote and not being able to turn out the democratic base in key states like NY, NJ, Mass. Ohio and CA.

You can have the soho hipster college vote
You have the Willie Nelson vote in places like Wyoming where Dems are outnumbered 200-1 and the only ones that do exist are very far left
The AA vote, well that's a given

When is Obama going to start winning the soccer moms, the suburban middle and upper class. These are segments that are ripe for the picking for McCain.

Edited on Sat Mar-08-08 05:58 PM by newfie4
Delegate wise, it may be unfair and stupid. Much like the caucus system. But perception wise, Hillary got more votes. She wins

then you don't understand caucuses.

28. You're a political idiot
Hillary needs delegates. When the system changes and votes start electing nominees instead of delegates, then you will have a point. Right now you're grasping at straws.

19. You can't lose a state when you walk away with more delegates.
Also, you apparently know NOTHING of VA politics or how you win elections. VA is a swing state on the verge of going blue. You can't win a national election without swing states. Blue states are going to vote democratic no matter what. Obama will win CA and NY comfortably. We need a candidate who can turn VA and GA and MD and WY blue. Thats the only way a democrat is getting back in the whitehouse.

39. please tell me how...
if he got 98 delegates and she got 93 delegates, he is declared the loser? Texas has a 2-step process and the second step Obama won bigger than Hillary won step one. Therefore, he won. Please explain to me what I am missing. Aren't the delegates what the race is about?

have pledged to vote for McCain if Hillary doesn't get the nomination. That's what you want us to think. Isn't there an outside chance Democrats will vote for any Democratic candidate rather than keep sending their kids to die in wars? This argument for Hillary is silly.

32. Ohio is an iffy state because the voting system is so corrupt.
I would actually think it more likely to go to McCain for that reason alone. (They own the machines after all.) At least Ken Blackwell is gone though - maybe that will make the chances of a fair election better.

34. True, but according to SurveyUSA he can afford to lose Ohio and still win the election....
According to their polling Obama would win with over 300 electorals, while Hillary wins by 15.

Obama just has a better chance.

one that struck me that wouldn't necessarily go for Obama, only because of the Republican crime family.

21. I was getting ready to ask this question. I honestly think if
Hillary had lost NH, it would have been over by now. NH kept her in the race with a "comeback", and now she's touting OH as her comeback, even after losing 12 straight. TX should not have been counted as a win for her, not for a minute.

Now, she'll lose 2 more in a row, then we have to wait 6 weeks for her to flail about.
