Obama just called Hillary on her dream ticket in Mississippi. |

He pointed out the inconsistency of implying an offer of VP while running that phone ad using Bill Clinton's own criteria for a VP. He also said he was "running for President" and the ridiculousness of implying an offer of the VP spot when he is the leader right now. From rally broadcast on MSNBC.

They're just trying anything to diminish Obama in the eyes of the voters. This is more of the "inevitability" meme -- maybe, if Barack is a good little negro and bows and scrapes to the Missus, he'll get to come inside and eat in the kitchen tonight.

but, yes, you are making an unfair characterization of Clinton's intentions. If her rival was white, she'd take the exact same position, so to make this into some racial affront is ridiculous.

30. Are you sure you're not confused about which candidate is which? |
|
Loud and yelling are two words I associate with Hillary.
I think he's got a lot of right to fuss about the candidate who is trailing him in both popular vote and delegate count to be "offering" him the role of Vice President. I don't think his feelings are hurt so much as his common sense, which should be enough to tell just about anyone that the loser of a race doesn't get to pick the VP and that it's rather silly for the person trailing to be offering the current front-runner the position of VP.
Yeah, I think Obama knows the races isn't over yet. I also think he knows he's winning, which is why he doesn't have to accept scraps from the table of the person who is trailing.

When Hillary acts arrogant, you accuse Obama of being arrogant.
When Hillary gets loud and emotional, you accuse Obama of being loud and emotional.
When Hillary puts out misleading flyers, you accuse Obama of putting out misleading flyers.
When Hillary gets favorable press, you accuse Obama of getting favorable press.
When Hillary goes negative in the campaign, you accuse Obama of going negative.
You're projecting. Every criticism you have of Obama has been even MORE TRUE for Hillary.
But.... you've already admitted that you are ok with your candidate lying.... so, since you have no scruples or shame... anything goes.

I do notice Sen.Clinton's voice sounds like it's going to quit at about anytime....from yelling,I think....it's the cheerleader syndrome. Let's remember that both candidates are in big venues and speak loudly....don't forget the Dean scream....when we finally got to hear the crowd noise we understood why he was so loud. This "hollering" thing isn't policy, which we should be talking about.

I don't see anywhere where she's said that choice would be made from a second-place position. The election is still continuing, so, it's a legitimate thing to say that if she achieves the nom she would consider him. Much fuss over nothing, I think.

Chris Rock remarked about Powell being asked to be a running mate for a guy he could beat as being ridiculous. This would be stupider because Obama has actually beaten Hillary. She just won't accept reality.
Hillary can just join the GOP where she belongs.
