8. This is proof that they have nothing on him
Clark Not Ready For Campaign Trail. "'I'm sure he knows that Iowa is a caucus state,' says a Democratic operative. 'But does he know what that means in terms of the organization required, which is immense? He's been a commander, so he's used to giving orders and having people follow them. It's not quite that way in political campaigns.'" (Michael Tomasky, "Meet Mr. Credibility," The American Prospect, 3/1/03)

18. Excuse me? Rove has plenty of materials on Clark
To which to hammer Clark, like oh, for example, a video footage of Clark praising * and the RNC. That's just one of thousands of stuff to which to hammer on Clark's limited budget.

Dean, on the other hand, has practically zero skeletons, an unlimited budget, and positive experience to which Dean, not RNC, can use. More importantly, Dean has tons of ammo against *, which * has little against Dean. If RNC is calling him an ultra-liberal, RNC is dead before the GE even starts.

9. bah...
they're just drooling over his resume.

He's their worst nightmare.

They fear him.

Which is a good thing.

I won't waste my precious time debunking their BS - I much rather prefer to debunk mythical nonsense such as "Clark and Dean are enemies" with one simple observation: I prefer Clark, but if Dean wins the nomination, I'll bust my back trying to get him into the WH - by a landslide.

The repugs are right to fear us.

12. it's jealousy, pure and simple
Edited on Thu Jan-01-04 10:02 PM by NV1962
I mean, compare Clark's resume with that of the usual suspects...

Wes Clark is the star quarterback for the winning team... They're entitled to their empty rants: it's all they have.

Nothing to do here: we have much more important business - like winning over as many as we can from the 50% that didn't vote in 2000. This time, there's a clear-cut choice. :)

13. I just sent the Following e-mail to the RNC...
"Thanks for the information on General Wesley Clark. I was leaning towards him & with what I just read on your website I will vote for him in the Primaries for sure. If anyone can beat Bush in 2004, I am sure it is Wesley Clark. Connecting him with Bill Clinton is a classic! That is sure to bring in the the undecided voters. Clintons two term Presidency & the botched Impeachment trials that put the majority of Americans behind Bill Clinton will surely help Wesley Clark.

P.S. Keep up the good work on information about Wesley Clark I am e-mailing it to all my associates undecided in the primaries. I love free advertising!"

P.S. I had to use my real e-mail address. When should I expect the FBI at my door?

20. LOL! I love them just the way they are.
If this is all they got, we win by 10 if Clark gets the nod.

The Web site is certainly stupid in that patented GOP way, but there is an interesting subtext: They know this election is about swing voters, hence the attcks on his progressiveness. They're right about that. Trouble is they know Clark takes away Chimp's only swing voter issue. BWHAHAHAHAHA!

21. The sweet spot
In the end, it is always about the 7-10% of the swing voters that get fought over.

In Clark's case they will be fighting for more than that. I recently read, but failed to bookmark, a demographic breakdown of the electorate. There are 25 million voters who are in some way connected to the military; however, they are clustered in certain states. If we can move 6-10% of those voters into the Democratic column, we can take six states away from bush.

Ask yourself: Do you want to win with a liberal?
