Difference of Opinion
With the current race between Senator Clinton and Senator Obama for the nomination of the Democratic party with a chance to win all the marbles in the fall of 2008 the chance of being the 44th President of the US.
There are myriad of reasons why folks like either candidate one way or another regardless of the political issues and how each candidate lines up accordingly.
There could be a host of reasons of why you lined up behind them
Here is a question for the masses why is there so much anger and
hostility between supporters of each of the candidates

2. We know we need a hero for #44...
...and without much evidence of heroism in either candidate, we've resorted instead to gotchas.

3. I think...
It is a reflection of the poisonous "politics of personal destruction" that we've gotten used to, unfortunately.
Obama, as a candidate, has been trying to stay away from that, but many of his supporters (myself abashedly included) have not been terribly successful at it. And when the poison spews toward your candidate, it's only human nature to want to respond in kind. I try to save my venom for the venomous version of Clinton supporter (the "hillbots" for want of a better word), but alas, I'm not always successful, as I was reminded by a fellow Obama supporter a week or two ago.
Now, it seems to me that Clinton has been the main purveyor of negativity in the campaign to date, but that may well be my bias talking. IMHO, Clinton's record in government (her claimed experience) offers plenty of opportunity to campaign against her without need to distort or smear.
