Sorry Hillbots, I was wrong. |
|
I thought this story was going to have legs until at least Tuesday, but after Obama effectivly put it to bed tonight, I don't think its even going to make it out of the weekend, aside from shows like Hannity and Rush. And if you have to lie down with those dogs to make your story stick, I think it says a lot.
Sorry guys, Teflon Obama wins another round. Maybe you'll find something better next time.

She's a member of the Senate Prayer Group - a bipartisan group formerly chaired by John Edwards.

A 527 can do an issue ad, McCain can even denounce it (as the chimp did for the swiftboat ad) and the damage is done. Those out of context quotes sound horrible and are going to scare the Reagan Democrats. And Sen Obama doesn't win even if it comes to a contest on whose religious freak supporter/advisor is worse. If it comes to that, people are going to go for the religious freak who looks most like them.

I do agree with 527s, but I think the RNC and McCain will put a leash on them when it comes to this. It's just as easy for the Dems to put together a 527 and make the same attacks.
This election will showcase 527's like never before.

They've traded a Power for a Ferraro in the sniper fire. Now, a "shocking video" has knocked off someone not even in the campaign. What "shocking video" or outrage will flow from the CLinton camp? I guess we'll see, soon enough.
It's getting old.

The republican party is not going to open up the floor for present your opponents' loony preacher day. They have way too many of them, many of their backers are in conflict, and for McCain to have to denounce a series of fundamentalist preachers is going to put him even further at odds with bitter Huckabee supporters.

Personally, the reason I think you are, is only so that you could post some stupid ass OP in which you call everyone on her side Hillbots.
See, if you actually had a message to get across to show faith in your candidate and peace of mind that he handled it well, you would've posted a genuine OP without the flamebaiting bullshit. But you didn't. Know what that means? It means your message isn't genuine at all and that you had no intention of really trying to put forth that he did well. Your only intention was an empty headed childish one in which you just searched for an excuse to use the term hillbots and attack the other side just for sake of doing so. Pretty weak, and pretty stupid.

While I have your attention, why the need for "Hillbots" and then taunting them to attack you again? It's really ok to promote your own candidate without slamming the opponents supporters. Especially since we are all essentially on the same team.

That's your prerogative. But I don't think you help your candidate by taking that position.
And I think the Ferraro bullshit is no different than the Wright bullshit. They are both bullshit.
And one of the reasons I am a democrat is because I consider this party more tolerant and inclusive than the other party.
But that's just my opinion.

56. I'm sure it's good for at least... |
|
one rinse and repeat. It might be a little tricky sneaking it in between Muslim smears, but the absurdity or lack of logic has not proven to be troublesome as yet. No I'm fairly certain that we can expect more from the choir regarding race. It's the only card left in the deck.

58. Yes the same Rush, Clinton, Hannity types will keep trying to make this stick |
|
as they have for the last six months. But the mainstream is going to let it go.

So many Hillary supporters have gotten so much joy from this story the past few days. And you're telling them the story's going to go away.
I bet you like telling 3 year olds that Santa's not real. Shame on you!

73. The "Hillbot" name-calling is just plain immature and lame. |
|
Don't you think that the Hillary supporters deeply want what they feel is best for this country? Don't you believe that ultimately, Obama would be better off with their support?
I understand that verbally taunting them may provide some personal petty payoff for you but do you really think it's helping anyone other than yourself?
And I deeply question whether the immature name-calling is even serving you.

74. Stop antagonizing Clintons supporters. This is a right wing smear |
|
that we as Democrats should all be standing together to fight. But how can we ask Clinton supporters to stand with us if we call them "Hillbots" and accuse them of being part of something that was started by either McCain's campaign or Sean Hannity, when Clinton's adviser declined to criticize Obama for it?

CNN and the rest of the puppets take their marching orders from Langley so there's no way to predict when they'll let up.

nothing to show that this is "blowing up".
