Obama & "Pastorgate" What are we missing?
Okay, okay, some guy whose church Obama went to said something that was part of a longer something else, which sounded frightening and since it's Friday that's all we're going to hear.

Can everyone please help me compile a list of other news stories (not Spitzer, please) that is more important and should be covered instead?

I'll start: the House's closed session.

Now, please post yours...

Thank you.

5. It's funny, but I forget he's still president sometimes.
No one takes him seriously, no one believes a word he says. He's way beyond lame duck status. More like dead duck. Maybe even eaten and digested. If someone told me he or Cheney died a few months ago, I wouldn't really be able to argue with them about it.

Come to think of it, maybe that's his strategy. Make people forget he's still there, and he can spring a war on us without anyone protesting.

4. Son of AL Governor (GOP) made money off suing jailed Gov. Siegelman's (D) contributor's Co.
Riley's son worked his way into the legal team that set up a civil suit against HealthSouth after the info about CEO's contribution to Siegelman's program came out.

Heathsouth settled for $445 million. GOP Governer Riley's son probably made millions off an insider deal.

9. Hillary refuses to release her Earmarks. She also had nothing to do w/ S-Chip but takes credit
for it during her stump speeches on a regular basis. Many Senators (Dem and GOP) are pissed.
