Obama Should Drop Out Now |
|
For the good of the democratic party. Obama can longer claim he is the hope and change candidate. From all the feedback, and more investigating to come, not only with the "tapes" but with Rezko, the democratic party cannot survive another go around like this. The heart and soul of Obama's campaign is destroyed. The guy has nothing but more of the same "politics". If Obama was vetted properly from the beginning, none of this would be going on right now. Now that the truth is out, Obama should unite the party by dropping out, for the sake of everyone.

What is it that you think Obama should be so ashamed of? People making a big deal out of hand-picked quotes out of a lifetime of sermons from the priest at his church? That's the best people can pin on him and you think dude should drop out?
George W. Bush won election with a very real insider trading scandal, appearances that he made himself at Bob Jones University, and all kinds of other ridiculous statements that he made himself, and you think Obama should pack it in because of this nothing of a nothing, pathetic excuse for a scandal?
Give me a fucking break.

|
Hit the streets and ask people if they know about Jeremiah Wright and Rezko. I bet over 90% look at you like your crazy. It's hard for this news to hurt Obama overall because it doesn't directly involve him. It's guilt by association. The basic premise of these arguments is that Obama is bad because some people around him are "bad." Unless Obama says god damn America himself or he is directly involved in criminal activity it's a wash.

Willie Horton was a direct result of the weekend furlough program that Dukakis supported. Willie Horton committed a crime and it was a direct result of Dukakis' support for that policy. Wright has committed no crime and what he said has nothing to do with Obama. They are his own political views. You can say that Obama believes it also, but then you'll be reaching at that point because you really don't know.

I would start "defending" your candidate; instead of blaming the Clinton's for everything WRONG in the Obama camp. This is only the beginning of both investigations for Obama.
Vote for Obama, who cares; but the majority of people have woken up from Obama's "dreamland" and are finally seeing Obama for what he is, a flawed and corrupt candidate, who gets his inspiration from a jerk who spews hatred masked as "religion"; and to top it off, Obama was bought and paid for by a sleazy politician; while preaching hope and change. What a hypocrite and fake.
Why do you "hate" Hillary so much? Never quite understood that concept coming from some of Obama followers. Shouldn't you be more concerned about your own candidate right now.

What is it that you think you know, that nobody else knows?
Rezko is in court already. Don't you think there was already an investigation? The accused are on trial, for cryin' out loud!
What is the other big investigation that you think is lurking in our future? A pastor of a church in Chicago? Who will investigate what?
I know things might be different if Hillary weren't losing this race, but you should try to get a grip. It isn't a healthy fantasy.

You ask "why do you hate Hillary so much"? Not everyone who doesn't back Hillary hates her, but that is the common whine of the Hillary Herd.
It is particulaly ironic because in your same post you call Obama a "hypocrite and a fake", you say Obama is "bought and paid for" and a "flawed and corrupt candidate". In short, you have HATEful words for Obama. Yet you complain about hillary haters.
Recent polls show that the overwhelming majority of Obama supporters would support Hillary as the nominee if she got the nomination. So much for the "hate" theory.
However, a much larger percentage of HILLARY supporters would not support Obama if he got the nomination. I guess there are more haters among the Hillary backers.
I would recommend you attend to the hate in your own side before you examine the hate elsewhere.

Just what type of inspiration are you talking about? Political inspiration, social inspiration, ethics/morals, spiritual inspiration?
The fact is that he was Obama's spiritual mentor. Do you think Obama really believes all of the bad things Wright has said? even after the denunciations?
But apparently, your pastor cannot just be your spiritual adviser. Anything he says must be your opinion. If he's a Cubs fan, you're a Cubs fan, too, by association. If he says something mean toward whites, you must be anti-white, as well.

After Hillary got her senate seat she has not faced serious opposition nor released ANY of her tax returns (even though she claimed in 2000 that all candidates should when her opponent didn't). How Bill funded his library and where they got all their current wealth from are still unanswered questions (they were basically broke in 2000 by all accounts).

...in concert now!
Isn't it fascinating that since we've seen the Obama email response to the Clinton daily talking points---how similar those Clinton talking points are to the drivel that is repeated over and over and over on DU?
Hillary's daily talking point of the week...that Obama is in a "downward spiral."
Guys. Come on. We see right through your orchestrated and pathetic efforts. I know you're scared. I know your scrambling. I know you're getting paid 50 cents a post. But please. Try and be a little less obvious about how contrived this little PR show is.
Pathetic.
These ill-conceived marketing points aren't even rooted in reality.
Nice try though.

We know who that will be. Asking for the winner to drop out so McClinton can be ordained will only make your side look that much more like sore losers.

Let us see Hillary's tax returns and first lady papers. Then she can claim to be "vetted"

If a fiery preacher is the worst on Obama, I'm not worried. He handle himself well against the character assassination attempts.

So Hillary has NO scandals in her past? She has never told a lie? There's nothing the RW can hold agaisnt her? She's a perfect saint? As much I dislike this latest event, there is nothing Hillary can say or do that proves shes morally superior to Obama. You are either a) politically naive b)just plain stupid c) trying to cause trouble. I vote C because I would like to think anyone intelligent enough to use a keyboard/computer would make this statement. Although, I should say many of the crap posts in this forum do kind of debunk the theory about intelligence being necessary to post.. :eyes:

95. Again with this? So Clinton has no dirt on her? |
|
You are sounding like a Republican. Is that why I read that when Clinton loses the nomination, 25% of her support will go to McCain (Pew Research report of Feb 28)? There is as much or more dirt on Clinton and I think Obama has acquitted himself well so far. All this scandal mongering does is help the Republicans.
He's ahead, he's popular, he just picked up more delegates in Iowa, and the Superdelegates are leaning toward him.
Why do you want him to quit? What scandal is so big he should drop out?
I know you like Clinton, fine. Give me a reason to vote for her other than you don't like Obama.
Senator Clinton has been married to Bill Clinton for 32 years. He has a ton of baggage from "Welfare to Work" to bombing Syria, Iraq, failure in Somalia, affairs, lying to Congress.
Maybe Clinton should drop out, eh?
I want Obama to win because he has a plan to rebuild the country, he didn't vote for war authorization (yes, he wasn't there), and he want to unite the country. He will try. I don't expect McCain or Clinton to even go that far.
