14. No, the problem is you drink the Kool-aid. Sen Obama has held elected office longer than she has
and when Laura & Barbara Bush both go out on tour telling everyone that First Lady Experience does not count and that anyone who tells you it does is delusional........

Well I think many undecided voters will turn away from Hillary.

When explained, Wright makes some very valid points.

6. That would be the smart thing to do
that would be the thing that would heal race tensions in the US.

If Obama cared about that, he'd do it... but right now those tensions work to his advantage.

Sorry guys- he's a politician.

8. Democrats should ALWAYS conduct their campaigns on the basis of what they think
the Republicans will say about them. And they should always choose candidates on the basis of what they think Republicans will say about them.

Because we all know what happened to Kerry and if we don't learn the lessons of 2004 now, we are doomed to repeat them.

25. Do you seriously think there is anyone on earth who can't be swiftboated?
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 10:41 PM by ocelot
If we choose candidates based on that kind of fear, we could never have a candidate who:

-- ever got bad grades in school
-- ever failed a bar or other professional exam the first time
-- ever had any kind of relationship, however remote, with anyone who ever committed a crime
-- ever belonged to any organization that had a leader who expressed controversial views
-- does not go to a Christian church
-- ever was a party to a lawsuit
-- ever got involved in a bad business deal
-- has or had a spokesperson who said something controversial
-- did not serve in the military
-- did serve in the military but was never seriously injured in combat
-- ever had an intimate relationship with someone they weren't married to
-- ever did anything that could be construed as in any way unwise
-- is not married (someone might think they're gay)
-- ever did something immature as a teenager
-- ever shows emotion in public
-- does not show enough emotion in public

... and on and on. In other words, anyone who has led a normal life and made normal mistakes.

Kerry's problem was not that he was imperfect. It was that he did not respond immediately and vehemently to the slander. But slander will always occur because that's what they do. The crucial thing is how to react to it -- with strength. Panicking at the thought of what the 527s might do is just stupid and weak.

this fall. McCain has a lot more to lose with Catholics (huge voting block) than Obama has to lose by being a Christian.

everyone knows how Obama feels about Rev. Wright, this is the man who led him to Jesus Christ. Something doesn't seem right to me, particularly when you see others reveling in Obama's discomfort.

a lie and this time the blame cannot be directed at the hrc campaign. Look in the damn mirror obama and take a damn hard look and you will see coming back at you the lie you told with your surrogates and a few in the whoremedia in january and before south carolina that the clintons were playing the race card against you.Yes obama you played the race card and you blamed Hillary Clinton, and now the lie is coming back at you.....

What is that smell? damn! it comes from the obama camp. It is either baked ass or burnt toast......oh and another thing open that shirt and maybe you will see the damn big hole in your own soul, BROTHER.

the super D's will go with Hillary.

They won't be willing to take a chance on Obama. He's one surprise video away from being front row, center court, at one of Wright's hate-fests. They simply won't be willing to take a chance on Obama telling the truth when he says that over 20 years he has never heard Wright talk like that. Sure thing BO.

They also went to Bush in 04 because they were afraid of Gay Terrorists. When you are afraid you gravitate towards known entity's who promise stability or a return to a better time and place (90's.)

You know, the other party goes after the opposing candidate in the general as Thomas Jefferson discovered in the first real election. Obama is immune to everything that has happened since then?

39. You people have lost your fucking minds
Good grief. You really need to step away from your computers for a little while. You have no idea what FREAKS you've become. This is getting ridiculous.

I can provide you with videos of Hillary thanking Karl Rove, endorsing John McCain, praising Walmart at the same time they were crushing attempts to unionize and using slave labor to stock Walmart shelves, repeating Bush & Cheney's words to the T and warmongering against Iran; insulting Gandhi and referring to him as a gas station owner in St. Louis; reading words in her book about how she first reacted when she learned Frisky Bill was fucking an intern with a cigar..."I gulped for air, I couldn't breath and started crying." Shall I go on??

Yet you think a video of Obama introducing his pastor in church is going to be the end of him and used endlessly against him in the general election? Someone needs to call the short bus and escort you people to the fucking LOONY HOUSE. You have totally lost your minds.
