I wonder if part of HRC's "experience" was supporting Bill's repeal of Glass-Steagall?

Oh, wait, what was I thinking?

If it was something good that happened in the Clinton administration, she was heavily involved.

If it was anything bad, she of course had nothing to do with it, and fought against it behind the scenes.

Silly me.

4. You are right. Between NAFTA and deregulation, the Clinton's had their fair share in it also
and to deny it is to deny the record

9. On November 12, 1999, President Bill Clinton signed into law the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which
Edited on Mon Mar-17-08 10:38 PM by still_one
repealed the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933. Remember the Clinton-backed Telecommunications Reform Act of 1996 which deregulated the radio market, along with pushing through the NAFTA free trade deal?

How could we forget when he signed the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act on August 22, 1996,“ending welfare as we know it.”, and pushing the burden back to those on welfare

These aren't repuke talking points, this is history, and it helped pave the way to the problems we are experiencing today

If you are not saying that Clinton wasn't involved in banking deregulation, maybe YOU should do some FUCKING RESEARCH YOURSELF

Hey, buy the way, how are your banks doing now?

5. Thank you
They could have vetoed this bill and didn't. This is the judgment you Hillary supporters are voting for.
