That's it. I'm voting for the rotting corpse of Grover Cleveland. At least we know he's good for two (non-consecutive) terms, no notable scandals in the last century and his pastor was a boring white guy.

GOCleveland!

Or, in a pinch, "Grovenuts."

4. The Cleveland legacy is not without its political scandals.

Here's the headliner:

excerpt:

Yet what is especially striking in retrospect is that the politics of sexual scandal repeatedly failed. No where is this more apparent than during the presidential campaign of 1884, when Democratic Presidential candidate Grover Cleveland was accused of fathering a child out of wedlock. In 1874, Maria C. Halpin, a 33-year-old widow, gave birth to a son whom she named Oscar Folsom Cleveland. She had kept company with several men, and although Cleveland was never sure that he was the child's father, he provided the woman with financial support. Later he had her committed to an insane asylum and the child to an orphanage.

That said, I second your endorsement of ol' Grover.

10. Ummm... You have obviously forgotten
That this man spanked 'grandpa simpson' on TWO NON-CONSECUTIVE OCCASSIONS.

Now that's a scandal the press would cover for six months.

12. You really got me to laugh at this. To much truth not to be funny.
If I was a betting person I would say that people will vote for an old McCain for one term than maybe a Clinton for 2 terms any day. And my first vote was in Ike's days. If the Clinton do not cook Obama the far right will. Poor man and I think he would be a great President for a new time, in place of these old thinking people I think we are going to re-put in place.

14. He's got my vote
Up until 2 months ago, I lived less than a mile from the official "Grover Cleveland Birthplace" in Caldwell, NJ.

In the 7 years I lived there, I never visited the place. Shame on me.
