  When he got to the part where he talked about though he rejected his pastor's remarks he still could not disown the pastor any more than he could disown his own, white, grandmother who was also touched by racism, I....wow.

  This gentleman, from everything I've seen, appears to be as intelligent and articulate as Bush is idiotic and inarticulate. And that's saying a hell of a lot.

This is a great speech. Give the writer a raise.

In all honesty, I haven't been keeping up with the Rev. Wright drama and while the topic seems to be about race, I'm listening to this speech and remembering the ignorant right wing email chains floating around and I'm left thinking this is more about religion. After this ordeal, whether people like or dislike Obama, they'll never again think he's Muslim and that must really piss off the republican smear machine. ;)
