Obama today showed what REAL leadership is, the courage, eloquence and intellectual fortitude to not run away from the Wright scandal but deal with it head on and get at the root of the issue! I have no doubt that this is the man for our time. This country needs a president that can uplift, inspire and heal the racial divisiveness that has plagued this country for so long. I'm off to donate, and I hope everyone chooses to do the same.

But maybe that's what patriotism feels like?

I must say I haven't ever felt patriotism in my whole life that I'm aware of.
Especially coming of age when we were being torn from our homes and sent to die in an unjust war for no good reason.

But for once, the man who could be leader of the US actually shares my human ideals... And he's under attack...
