You have to give Hillary credit
Senator Clinton has managed to polarize the Democratic party in the same way that the Republican party polarized America. Where even a few weeks ago Obama supporters had vowed that they would support Clinton if she were to win the competition, her tactics in recent weeks have pretty much made it certain that if she's the candidate, Obama supporters would not touch her with the proverbial barge pole. They may not vote for McCain, but they will stay home.

1. no, I will not do this
I have not cared for HRC personally. She is a Democrat, and is infinitely preferable to John McCain.

I am an Obama supporter, and I am a Democrat. I will support the Democratic nominee.

4. I want a browser plugin
that replaces "Hillary" with "Blue Team" and "Obama" with "Red team". It would make these posts so much more entertaining. You'd have somebody with a "Blue team" logo talking about how "red team" has polarized us into teams...

31. Jets and Sharks
Edited on Tue Mar-18-08 03:34 PM by hfojvt
Hillary can be the New York Jets. Obama the Hawaii Sharks. Chelsea can play Maria and I'll play Tony. Tim Russert can play Officer Krupke.

We just need to write a happy ending to this.

Maybe pull one out of a hat like "The Wizard of Oz". We will just click our heels together 3 times and say "There's no place like Denver." "There's no place like Denver"

2. clinton supporters will do the same thing and if you don't think so
Edited on Tue Mar-18-08 12:35 PM by Herman Munster
you aren't in touch with reality.

A LOT of Clinton supporters will not vote for Obama and it's now much higher than the 25% in the poll a few weeks ago. I'd say close to 50% of Clinton supporters will now stay hoe or vote McCain.

5. I will not vote for her for two reasons:
1. DLC a.k.a. the Republican insurgency

2. Iraq war vote

p.s. - she gets nowhere with me for being John McCain's personal cheerleader either.

11. She would still be preferable to McCain.
I can hold my nose and vote for the lesser of two evils one more time.

But I would also say goodbye to the Dem Party and work for ballot status for a progressive alternative.

21. No,
Edited on Tue Mar-18-08 03:05 PM by death to the DLC
I will not endorse her. She has succeeded, she has split the party. The last thing this country needs is more of the same.

I will never, and I mean NEVER endorse the DLC again.

The DLC are Republicans, why do people choose to ignore this fact?

Because any Democrat is better than any republican.
I hope you change your mind, and decide to vote for our nominee, no matter who it is.
