Poll question: My Candidate vs Your Candidate
We are all on the same side. We all are sick to death of the Republican agenda and the trashing of the Constitution, the 5 year old illegal war, the despoiling of our air and water, indeed the planet, the plundering of our treasury and the utter destruction of our economy. It would appear that America is ready to elect a Democrat. It should not even be a contest. Except that our candidates are busy trashing one another and giving for free advertising footage to the McCain campaign and putting the outcome in doubt. And the attitude that "Your Candidate" sucks is poisoning any remnant of civil discourse on these and other boards, with posters more and more saying if "Your Candidate" gets the nomination I won't vote for him/her. WTF are your priorities? Either on of these would be infinitely preferable to 4-8 more years of the corruption and endless war. I'm begging you, rather than tell me why "My Candidate" sucks, how about trying to convince me that "Your Candidate" is a better choice.

2. Congratulations!
To my chagrin we sold some land we owned in NB with a view over the Bay of Fundy all the way to NS. Bad decision, eh?

3. Yeah, you might have wanted to hold onto it.
They are starting to put restrictions on foreign ownership of real estate now.

5. Other
Undecided as to whether to vote for Clinton in the GE--the Iraq speech Friday may have been the straw that broke etc.--but as a Californian I am sure my vote will not affect the outcome either way.
