I was watching part of the "War Room" with David Gregory, and the issue of Edwards endorsing Clinton came up, and would it tip the race in HRC's favor.
Then, someone said that there are no giants in the democratic party that could make the difference in terms of an endorsement.
Would Al Gore be considered a bigger "get" in terms of endorsements than John Edwards?

1. Please change your headline |
|
Very misleading, and you're not the first person to do it.

If it's obviously a false headline that's ok. But not the OP.

5. Yes, because Gore is above the fray, not part of this race |
|
Edwards was a contender and still may be looking for a job in the next administration. Gore, by staying out of the race and consistently rejecting the idea of returning to public life, is seen as an "honest broker" and not out for any personal gain.

7. Probably, but I think both are greatly overestimated |
|
Gore would have significant impact with superdelegates, maybe, but not with mainstream voters. He'd be good for a 3 point uptick for whomever he endorsed, tops.

9. So if they both endorsed Clinton, would that swing the election? |

12. No. But if they both endorsed Obama, it would create an avalanche of superdelegates to him. |
