Poll question: A poll about age here in GDP.
It occurred to me that age might be making a big difference in our opinions here. Please take this poll.

1. This poll won't show, however, who disagrees with whom.
Or their respective ages.

2. 20-35 is pretty sweeping for that category.
I only say that because it's the difference of being raised with Reagan/Bush to Clinton/Bush, through educationally formative years. I'll be 34 in a few months and have a very different political impression than those that might even be 28.

6. I'm 55 and I've noticed that I'm more liberal than alot of young people.
I lived through the McCarthy years, the Civil Rights Movement, the Vietnam era and the birth of the Women's Rights movement. I think it radicalized me. In a way, I understand the Karl Roves in this country, because they were around in the 60's and 70's, too. It wasn't pretty.

25. I think this election may be radicalizing the new voters
Im 22, and a lot of people my age seem to be more radical. Bushco may have radicalized an entire generation to the left.

you are in the 55-85 group.

21. Yeah really
it's quite a downer especially when you just got into that category cause you're just slighty over the limit for the one before it. *sigh*

3. Can we just put the answer in DU FAQs?
There must be two dozen of these floating in the archive. I'm sure it would make the advertisers jobs easier.

9. I mean this question gets asked every month, sometimes more often
Almost as common is the partner question about level of education.

These things matter to marketers; they make ads to fit age-education-income profiles.

11. I just noticed one thing. I'm 35 and checked the 35-55, but
noticed that 35 is also in the 20 something to 35 group also.

20. LOL. I'll be 35 in a week and made damn sure to chose the 20-35 group.
Probably the last time I'll be able to do that. :)
