Get ten new supporters in May. Even if they don't sign up on the web site, just get ten new voters, ten new people who will phone bank or give people rides in November, ten new people participating somehow. And ask them to do the same.

Proud not to be on Kerry's list, though that hasn't stopped him from mailing me letters begging for money.

4. Who do you support, Larkspur? |

You have nothing good to say about John Kerry. Why do you feel the need to post these kind of remarks?

6. The choice before us is 1) disaster (Bush) and 2) unpalatable (Kerry) |
|
I'm just an ordinary, hardworking, taxpaying American citizen who is disgusted with the poor quality of leadership in this country and in both political parties. Robert Greenleaf, author of the Servent Leadership paradigm, who was also disgusted at the decaying leadership in our institutions during the late 1960's, said that followers are here to enable leaders and respond to them. He meant that we are not to act like sheep following the herd but as partners who participate in the decision making process.
I don't like Kerry because I see him as a poor leader and political opportunist, but I'll vote for him this November because I don't have much of a choice. If he wins the White House, I guarentee that I'll continue my critique of Kerry. I do not subscribe to the ABB philosophy, which the Dem Establishment is using and will continue to use against Democratic dissenters, regardless if kerry wins the White House or not.

7. Thank you for your response, Larkspur. |

I think we all will critique John Kerry as President, if we disagree with him. It is our right, and our duty. That said, I think he will make a damn fine president.
On the other hand, I think most of the ABB folks are not any of us here at DU, but the mostly uninformed masses who are beginning to realize that this crowd has really fucked things up.
I think Kerry's new ads will help him a great deal with the masses and stand in stark contrast to the dark, negative and vile crap that Bush has been running.

Especially for passing the link around to your email buddies. We will need all hands on deck to beat this crowd, who have proven they will stop at nothing to win.
