RAS Daily Tracking poll: Obama up 46-43 over Hillary (Hill has a 55% unfav rating)
This is in line with a new CBS poll showing Obama leading Hill by three as well (out today)

But the infighting among dems have taken a toll:
Obama fav/unfav 48-49
Hillary fav/unfav 43-55
McCain fav/unfav 53-43

3. My gut-level contention that Hillary is unelectable in the G.E. is confirmed.
43-55? That just plain stinks.

6. I wonder what Hillary's 'solution' to that huge unfavorable rating is?
The fact is, there is no solution to it. It shows how unelectable she is.

17. Actually, I think Hillary missed a huge opportunity
She's not especially well liked by some, but she's generally been well respected. I think rather than trying to be "likable", she could have positioned herself as the candidate to tell us the hard truths about our society, our debt, our economic troubles and the responsibility we need to take to fix this mess.

People hear her and they hear their mom. Maybe, but who, if not your mom, can tell you that you'd better work on getting your shit together and yet convince you she does it out of love.

Instead, she took the more traditional political path and Obama has become the candidate that spoke to us like we are equal partners in the business of fixing America.

The spot was both hers for the taking, and, in my opinion, a natural fit for her. But she listened to her advisers who told her that we can't handle a politician who talks straight, even if it means hearing and doing things that are hard.

11. Really? their last poll showed O up by one point--hardly a landslide
and Obama did win on election day in California. H won by early voting.

I think you are thinking of Zogby poll as the one which had O winning by a landslide.

8. West Virginia: Clinton 55% Obama 27%, 58 % say Obama received better media treatmet than HRC
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/west_virginia/west_virginia_democratic_presidential_primary

Clinton is viewed favorably by 72% of West Virginia’s Primary Voters, Obama by 53%.

By a 48% to 31% margin, the West Virginia voters believe Clinton will be the stronger general election candidate against John McCain. However, by a 47% to 35% margin, they believe Obama will win the nomination. Even 32% of Clinton voters expect Obama to be the Democratic nominee in 2008.

If Obama is nominated, just 42% of Clinton supporters say they are even somewhat likely to vote for him against McCain. Eighteen percent (18%) of Clinton voters say that they are Not Very Likely to vote for Obama and 35% say they are Not at All Likely to vote for Obama.

On the other hand, if Clinton is nominated, 57% of Obama voters are at least somewhat likely to vote for the former First Lady.

10. West Virginia has been considered a Clinton state for some time
I think that O will do well in Oregon, Indiana, SD, Montana and NC and Hill will do well in PA, WVA and KY.

18. wrong again. That was yesterday today it's C 48 O 43
Obama made a major speech on Tuesday addressing the race issue in large part to help move past the controversy. While Tuesday night polling showed no immediate benefit for Obama, the Wednesday results were more favorable to him, as reflected in the slight drop in Clinton's three-day average lead. This suggests at least the possibility that Obama has stopped his losses. The tracking data over the next several days will be a crucial indicator of the lasting impact, if any, of the Wright controversy
