Whose speech is more hateful - Rev. Wright or Michael Savage? |
|
Just wondering... 'cause that Savage crap is on the radio nationwide every night and no one seems to make a big stink out of it.
I know, I know... he's not running for president. But I think if we're going to scrutinize a person's speech, part of it is putting it in perspective.

9. Does God Not Judge the US? |
|
Edited on Thu Mar-20-08 07:54 PM by jazzy062
It seems we as Americans assume God does not judge our country for its sins. This country has committed many atrocities throughout history and many of us are still in denial about it. He simply spoke the truth - the truth that many are simply unwilling to deal with.

10. I agree with you, however |
|
I don't feel like I'm in the position to tell God whom to damn and whom not to damn. So I would choose a different way to express the same truth. nonetheless I agree with his sentiment if you look at what he's saying. he's not saying to damn all americans, or the country. he's saying "damn us for what we have done." I believe if you look at the video the whole sentence was "God damn america for starting an unjust war." Can't say I disagree with that.

11. Well, since "hate speech" is a right-wing misnomer... |
|
for Wright's sermons, I guess by default it's Savage. Rev. Wright hates no one - and anyone who took the time to actually WATCH his sermons would know it.
