As an Obama supporter, I don't like the innuendo directed at Clinton re: Passport Breach |
|
I've been highly critical of Clinton during this campaign for various reasons but the truth is we know fuck all about this breach at this point and it's wrong to point fingers right now. Don't get me wrong. There needs to be an investigation right away by an independent body (not a Bush hack). Until we have that independent investigation, I'm not going to speculate on why these 3 individuals did what they did. I personally don't believe the Clinton campaign is involved in any way though, that's just my opinion.

Occam's razor and all...
I can see them just wanting to find whatever dirt they can on whichever Dem poses a threat to them. I'm sure they are assiduously digging up dirt on Sen. Clinton as well.

3. I agree... let's let this play out for a day or so at least... |
|
You have to give the Clinton campaign the benefit of a doubt on this... it's just too far to go for a presidential campaign. If anything, it might be an RNC link somehow.

29. But it needs to be kept in the news. |
|
Everyone needs to be reminded that we need a thorough investigation of this. Don't let the story die.
They need to be reminded as well that Bill Clinton and Perot also had their passport information snooped. That investigation was nothing but a whitewash, as far as I am concerned.

10. It quite clear (to me at least) that the GOP is setting Hillary up as the instigator of this breach. |

Beyond that, I'm just not sure. I really want to believe she wouldn't do something like this, but I'm not confident in that belief.

the odds of getting caught, given another administration is in power, are too high.
That said, let it play out, follow the leads. It'll lead somewhere, even if its just a few fools playing with computers.

The last time this happened (to Bill Clinton), it happened under Poppy Bush. This time, it happens under Poppy's son, Dipshit Bush. Coincidence? I don't think so. Like Father, like son. (Or any other cliche you care to insert here.) The Bush Crime Family=Idiot's Delight.

I don't know if it was the youtube poster or MSNBC with the text "Clinton Campaign Linked to Passport Breach"
Because that is inaccurate.
I changed it when I inadvertantly put up an unnecessary thread on the subject to
"Clinton Appointee"
Which IS ACCURATE... that doesn't mean she AUTHORIZED it, it only means she IS linked to the event by being in the chain of command... close to the activity, at the time.
MY opinion is there will be no proof of Clinton Campaign complicity in this matter.
It's way too lurid and sleazy

It is offensive to speculate about that without proof. Besides, if it was tied to the Clintons, they never would have covered it up in the first place. Don't you think they would have put it out there right away if they thought it might hurt her?
