I saw both Edwards and Barack tonight... |

I am confused and at the same time inspired…
First, Let me just say I MISS john Edwards…after watching his short time on the jay leno show tonight, I remember painfully the Hope I had when he was still in the race. I miss his vision; I miss his words and his character. He was someone I truly believed in, and I truly hope with all my heart and soul that he can make a difference in the public sector in the mission to end poverty in this country. He could be the Al Gore of humanity during a “tough time (as ** would say) in this country, facing head on the issues that bring us to economic destitution.
That said, I then flipped over to Barack on Larry King Live. I agree that the war needs to come to an end. I want us out of Iraq with my heart and soul, I feel for those innocents, and the soldiers that have been hurt and abused by his administration. I think that he has a good point that two years would be a good timeline to take us out of war and into rebuilding, or at least helping that effort. Then I heard him talk about McCain and Clinton in a very careful way. He said the same thing that Edwards had been saying all along: (Paraphrased) When they talk about their experience, they are talking about how long they have been in Washington—and we all know that Washington doesn’t work, it hasn’t been working. ..
He said that the lobbyists are not there to represent the will of the people, and that is what is wrong with this administration… AMEN!! (Can I get a hallelujah?) I don’t know, maybe I am just hoping to HOPE…but could we be hearing real and rational people here?
The wish I have is that the regime change comes quickly, I guess...too many years at war, too many years struggling financially, too many years trying to get up the hill, when the govt is working against us ALL...
any comments?

1. Senator Obama doesn't need to suck up to lobbyists |
|
Almost all of his donations are coming from regular folks like us. This works out HUGE in our favor!
Amen!

But you can't have anything happen in Washington that doesn't have someone that is involved in her campaign and then people look for the link back to her.
Its like Kevin Bacon, shes so connected to Washington, theres no way to have ANY scandal not be connected to her in some way or another.
You can't change washington if YOU ARE WASHINGTON.
Mr Obama is not Washington and he will change it.
