Clinton and Obama are both confronted with damaging situations so ...
we can judge their future performance as President by observing how they respond.

Obama acknowledges the situation and proceeds to give a nuanced and persuasive explanation as to his involvement and his views towards it.

Hillary denies the situation. Then when confronted with incontrovertible evidence in conflict with her denial, she tries to ignore it or invents excuses.

Our country is in the state it's in because the Bush administration performs exactly as Hillary has when confronted with a disagreeable situation.
To me, Hillary has demonstrated the same flaws that make me so violently against the Bush administration.

I don't want another administration that is doing everything behind my back.
I want someone who tells me what they are doing and why they are doing it so I can judge and respond.

Obama offers the potential for a presidency that will do this.

Hillary has demonstrated that she won't.

3. I'm lost. What was Hillary's situation and what incontrovertible evidence?
It's hard to keep up.

12. Hillary's situation = she's losing.
And her hopes of MI and FL are fading.

4. What a load of shit...
...yeah, when confronted with Wright, Obama says he never knew of the more controversial comments, but a year earlier he told Wright he had to distance himself during the campaign because of the controversial comments.

sorry that I had to give a sepcific example to prove you wrong.

8. He was in Miami for the sermon about
GD America.

Does that mean Wright was controversial only once?

I have heard people say that Obama was bad for listening to that for 20 years.

But the truth of the matter, is that the bad stuff happened rarely - possibly less than a dozen times - or only three times from the video I have seen.

The very worst was when Obama was not in the audience.

I really despise the making stuff up out of whole cloth stuff - without any facts to support it.

That is what right-wingers do.

9. Umm ... no.
Obama said,

"Did I know him to be an occasionally fierce critic of American domestic and foreign policy? Of course. Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes."

10. That is your prediction.
However, I would take the opinion of others more knowledgeable over yours.

arrogant :: an attitude of superiority manifested in an overbearing manner or in presumptuous claims or assumptions
I'm thinking this would more aptly apply to the trailing candidate *presuming* to offer the VP slot to the frontrunner, eh?!?

edit: (though it'd have to be admitted that plenty of Obama supporters might be bearing a bit over)

16. Good observation. And you could continue ...
... but considering the relative stability of their campaigns. Hillary's has been erratic and always having to "comeback", making gains almost entirely through a divisive "kitchen sink" negative attack strategy.
