Are We Reaching Critical Mass on * Administration Fatigue? |
|
The late-night comics are reaming bushco. And then there's the sorry, sordid truth that's *finally* resonating with the general public.
In 2000, we heard that the country was suffering from *Clinton fatigue* - ie: all the peace and prosperity was, er, boring, and spicing it up with illicit sex was oh so offensive to our Puritanical ethos. Well, aren't we overdue for a big dose of bush fatigue? I mean, rally, nothing has gone right since he assumed the position.
When will we hear about * fatigue from our pundits? A frightened, exhausted public wants to know.

2. This long string of losses fuels the call for a new coach |
|
Bush has been given too many passes but America will say NO to his request for a new 4 year contract. A Losing record is a LOSING RECORD
more so if its 4 years straight.

3. YES ... but ... remember the Iran Hostages (if you're old enough).. |

The fatigue did not truly manifest itself in the electorate until the days before the election.
Lou Harris picked up in his poll at the time, but no one else did, least of all the pundits.
The good, good, good news is that if Kerry is a good President, he can be the liberal Reagan. Set the ideological baseline for a generation just on the fluke that he happened to run against a President who lost the confidence of the electorate.
