|
Edited on Mon Mar-24-08 12:21 AM by aaroh
Just say Kathleen Sebelius the governor of Kansas was in the race with senator Hillary Clinton as the last (wo)men standing in the primary election who would you prefer as the democratic presidential nominee? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kathleen_Sebelius - Kathleen Sebelius http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillary_clinton Hillary Clinton

4. Classic example of knee-jerk Clinton hatred. Seblieus is probably to the right of Clinton |
|
Yet the knee-jerk reaction is to vote against her.

11. How about Ben Nelson versus Hillary Clinton? |
|
This is about Clinton hatred. Clark vs. Obama wouldn't have anything to do with the irrational Clinton hatred on the blogosphere for having the same basic views that their hero obama has.

I'll take voting to ban them over voting not to ban them any day of the week.

9. Classic example of a Shillbot not paying attention. Sebelius just vetoed new coal plants in KS. |
|
Hillary Clinton's key strategic adviser is tied to Blackwater, Monsanto and Exelon.
Spin that one.

|
Edited on Mon Mar-24-08 12:43 AM by Alexander
And since Mark Penn is essentially running the Clinton campaign, it seems like you have some explaining to do.
By the way, how is this relevant? Obama was not mentioned in the thread. Only Sebelius and Clinton. Way to stay on topic!

26. This is a thread about Sebelius v. Clinton, first of all... |
|
Your anti-Obama hate obviously knows no bounds.
Second, you spelled "Axelrod" wrong.
Third, Obama's ties to Exelon are greatly exaggerated, whereas Mark Penn's are not.
Fourth, I don't love Obama, or any politician for that matter, and I challenge you to find a post of mine where I said I did. Put up or shut up.

14. She is the DLC's best chance to win the veep spot with Richardson running a solid second |
|
Edited on Mon Mar-24-08 12:39 AM by jackson_dem
The suckers in the blogosphere can't connect the dots. There is a reason Seblies, Richardson, Nelson, and so many other DLC members love Barack Obama, who the blogosphere blindly thinks is some sort of resolute foe of the DLC.

If he is, as alleged, a resolute foe of the DLC the DLC would surely be aware of it.

23. You brought up Obama in a thread unrelated to him. You start with explaining relevance. |
|
If you're really that thick, I'll explain.
You mentioned Sebelius, Richardson and Nelson (which Nelson?) supporting Obama as if it's evidence that he's just like the DLC.
I mentioned Kucinich and Feingold because they are decidedly anti-DLC and they support Obama as well. Kucinich even asked his Iowa supporters to caucus for Obama.
And the DLC is aware of it. Obama asked his name be taken off of their list of members. They complied.
Too bad you weren't aware of it. But I guess if you're not aware of it, it can't be true.

25. No, it is evidence of the obvious: the DLC is comfortable with him |
|
As would any DLC member who looked at his record.
Ben Nelson.
Kucinich has not endorsed Obama. He is on record saying his Iowa deals are out of pure self-interest.
He didn't get on the list by chance. They looked at his record. His record is even more conservative now than it was then.
Really? So Richardson, Sebelius, Nelson, and so on including even Al From are unaware of the double secret that only the blogosphere "knows"?

29. Right. That's why they took his name off their website. Sure. |
|
That's why Vilsack, Clinton, Carper and Ford are all working against him. Because they're so comfortable with him. Right. :eyes:
Ben Nelson supports Obama because his state voted for him.
Who am I going to believe - the DLC's own list of members, or some anonymous shill named "jackson_dem" who claims to know everything?

Nice try. You're a bigger loser than your candidate.

28. Other than Richardson, those are not big DLC names |
|
The people really in charge of the DLC (the former chairs, for example), overwhelmingly support Hillary. Gephardt, Breaux, Bayh, Vilsack, and of course Bill all support her. None of them support Obama. Richardson was a late endorser, probably for his own self-interest, rather than any love for Obama. Oh yeah, and Lieberman supports McCain.
