Do what I just did!
Donate to Barak. I just made my 3rd $100.00 donation to the Obama campaign. I will do the same each month until he is nominated and then on to the GE. I urge all Obama supporters to give each month whatever they can.

By the way, if Clinton does manage to get the nomination, I will start giving to her.

I just know that we do not need another Republican president for four years.

3. No thanks. My money stays on local candidates until I actually
respect and admire a Dem candidate again. But, good for you. <<<and I sincerely mean that. I'm just out of National giving this year.

6. I understand, but I live in Texas
Edited on Mon Mar-24-08 09:45 PM by sorrybushisfromtexas
and I think that we will have only 1 Democratic Candidate running in the GE in my county. This is Republican country and it sucks.
I do think that you should reconsider Obama, read his books, and look at his record in Ill. Senate.

8. I read his books. They were Christmas gifts from my brothers.
When I look at him I see more of the same. But I appreciate your advocacy of him. There is just no one who remotely inspires me this year. My favorite cousin ever just moved down to Texas. So one more to the good for you there.

11. I don't feel that way. They are the same person.
I'm staying out. Can't do it. Making a stand because I can't even hold my nose anymore. It is supporting local candidates and hoping for a future filled with options and true Democratic ideals. But, I respect your wishing to vote for him.

7. Please tell me where he has not told the truth.
I know all about Rezco, don't like it, but there are similar things in Clinton's background (Hue)

10. obama told his supporters that HE opposes NAFTA, then...........
Edited on Mon Mar-24-08 09:59 PM by Double T
contradicts himself by telling the Canadians his NAFTA comment was ONLY political rhetoric. obama said he NEVER heard wright use derogatory language during Trinity Church services, then turns around and says HE has. obama, like mccain, can Not be trusted.

13. Listen again.
He did not say he never heard him say something controversial, he said that he didn't hear the ones Fox, and the MSM were running with. Hillary's statements about opposing NAFTA are also under scrutiny with many saying she was for it.
We are hearing all the crap about her Bosnia statements, it was like a fishing story, you embellish a little. It sure is not worth all the MSM time spent on it tonight.

Will you vote for Obama if he is nominated? I surely will vote for her, I think that they both are good candidates with about the same amount of baggage in the GE. We do not need another Republican as president.

15. Then video tape of obama making BOTH statements must be a lie.
I will NEVER vote for obama as it would make me as BIG a hypocrite as HIM.

12. Any idea how he's doing this month?
It will be a bummer to go from $55M in one month to some significantly smaller number. It's understandable because there's not as much going on.

Still I hope he can pull in the serious cash again. I donate at regular intervals...

David

14. I know he was nearing the 2 million
donor mark but I haven't heard any about how much has been given.

I do get to go to our County Convention this Saturday as a Obama delegate. He lost in my county in the voting, but I have no idea how he did in the County Precinct Caucuses. Hillary won my precinct 9 to 6 delegates to the County Convention.
