The longer this crap goes on, the deeper the damage to the party |
|
if this goes to the convention... say hi to Presnit McCain and FOUR MORE YEARS
WHOOHOOO
Mission accomplished...
Let that sink in.
And yes, I blame partisans for BOTH sides, as well as lack of leadership by the adults for this.

|
Their way of campaigning by nit picking is despicable and distractive...counter productive...

2. I hope it does go to the convention. |
|
I hope it's hopelessly deadlocked, and we end up with a nominee that is neither of the two on the table today.
Then it's a whole new ballgame.

11. No, I just described a scenario that might |
|
provide a win for Democrats in November. I don't think either of the two on the table now will do that.

7. I hope you like the way things are right now... because you will |
|
get four more years of this shit.
Hell perhaps even a draft and WW III (Of course this could still happen BEFORE november, but that is another ball-game)

10. I don't expect to get anything great from any of them. |
|
None of them are likely to call a decisive end to military action in the middle east.
None of them will provide us with universal, single-payer, not-for-profit health care.
None of them will work to repeal NAFTA/CAFTA. Or NCLB.
I don't think any of them will repeal the Patriot Act.
I'll get 4 more years, or 8 more years, of corporatism, regardless of who "wins."

12. Well in that we agree |
|
it is just how bad or not so bad it will be for your pocket book
That said, if the crisis is bad enough we may see another FDR... Remember FDR didn't run on the new deal...
Then again we might see Disaster Capitalism on steroid

3. Yup that's why it's time! |

for the adults in the party like Edwards to endorse Obama and throw Hillary under the bus. It's all lost for her now all she can do is help McCrazy. So Hillary if you can hear me with your head so far up your own ass, come out and give up while you can still show some class. Please only you can salvage your dignity.

who is ready to go scorched Earth whether it destroys the Dem chances this year or not.
Ever calculating, ever triangulating to position HERSELF in 2012 (doing her best to sink Obama with less than wholehearted support) , despite the fact she would lose a GE whenever she runs.
I am in the population who SHOULD vote for her -- geezer feminist -- but I have had it. Her campaign's methods are so Rovian transparent - witness her manipulating the "Pastor issue" today to deflect fro her lies about Bosnia.
If she scrabbles her way to the nomination, I will probably vote for her with gritted teeth -- but NO money, NO volunteer work, and will cherry pick legislative Dems to support a Congress more to my liking - fully expecting that McPain will be who they will have to obstruct from Iraq/Iran. (Does he know the difference?)

regardless of WHO the dems nominate at this point.. it has been the press selecting candidates all the way to now
This has been a perfect example of pull gun, load it, cock it, and aim at foot.

Best to have it all played out now, and LEARN -rather than to scurry about in September.
